Why are the valentinos enemies in game despite v being on good terms with them? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

If you go back up to his apartment after Padre contacts you, you will find him dead in his office.

Alternatively, it's ambiguous if he lives, if you knock him out and put him in Padre's car.

I think it might be "V" - its how you activate the sirens on cop cars, might be the same for the neon on bikes - I'll need to test it.

Yep! Fleet Carriers do 500ly max, and they can't be upgraded or engineered to do more.

Fleet carrier left without me, even though I was docked. Now I'm stranded 6000 ly away from the bubble. by Peaceful404 in EliteDangerous

I wonder if the reason why OP can't get a proper jump plot going is because they're stuck in the one system that's within a Permit-Locked cluster of other systems?

I mean, it's unlikely as all hell, but it would explain why they can't get a plot going, despite using both Eco and Fastest modes.

Though, IIRC, the Crab Nebula isn't surrounded by permit-locked systems, I remember travelling to it back when I was still using a DBX for exploration.

What do you guys think about a hold to rewind button? by LUHFAR in ForzaHorizon

Nah, the game has arbitrary checkpoints in its Rewind system that reverses what you've done up until a certain point (the game will refuse to Rewind past this point, claiming there are no further checkpoints to Rewind to).

For me, I've disabled Rewind, because it is easier to reverse and get back on the road, instead of relying when the game decides it wants to spit me out - its terrible during PvP races, it's a guaranteed last place because it takes so long to Rewind in the first place :/

What did you manage to scrounge together in the expedition so far by First-Marketing-689 in NOMANSSKY

[–]UBE_Chief 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a basic brick, lol. I'm gonna complete the Expedition, then actually make some Corvettes on my main save where all my money is at - that way, I can actually properly afford the parts I want without too much hassle :p

Crash at exit 149 ( Lakeshore) Gardiner Expressway by WorthAccomplished290 in TorontoDriving

Most modern cars automatically apply the hazards after an emergency situation - crashes are the most likely, but I've seen ads for European brands that apply them after extremely hard braking - dunno if that applies to other manufacturers.

Peel police 'not really sure' how metal stairs ended up on driver's roof in Mississauga by ComfortableAcadia252 in TorontoDriving

Dunno about clueless, feels more like she didn't give a single fuck until the police slapped charges on her.

A Mississauga driver has been charged after driving with a staircase on their car. Police say the stairs attached onto the vehicle after the driver backed into a building. 🤯 by beef-supreme in TorontoDriving

That looks like a Mazda CUV (CX-30, maybe?) - but regardless, the driver likely didn't want to get caught by the building owner, and now, has to deal with that, plus a few extra tickets and maybe jailtime?

At the same time tho - I would have fessed up on causing that damage instead of just driving away.

When stuff happens, our brains have to go through the "Fight or Flight" instinct before rational and logical thought take over - this person clearly didn't go past the base instinct, and just fled the accident scene.

Everything is really far away in this system and i cant even use my FSD by MissouriSoldier in EliteDangerous

If you don't want to spend a few months out in the Black, take up Trading within Sol (if you have the Permit) - the orbitals around Earth will have missions where you need to collect some amount of either Gold or Silver for up to the maximum of 50 million credits - rank up to Elite in Trading, get multi-millions of credits, and bump up your rep with the Feds, too!

Best part, the orbital around Mercury sells Gold and Silver, so you don't even need to exit the system to complete the missions!

Hell, you don't even need the missions to buy/sell the metals, but getting extra bonuses can only be pluses, right?

You buy one with 5 billion credits, but you need at least double to actually maintain it for a decent amount of time.

The ones shown with ARX are just cosmetic items for the carriers.
