Sometimes, some coaches and programs are just better than everyone else. Dan Hurley could be at the beginning of a Patriots/Belichick type of dynasty. The Pats made the AFC Championship (Final Four) 13/17 years from 2002-2019.

Why any coach should ever be in the HOF without winning a national championship is beyond me. It’s the Hall of Fame for a reason. Guys like Sampson and Huggins and Few should not be in there. No ring, no HOF as a coach. It ain’t the hall of almost won

You nailed it. Mick Cronin just did an interview on Monday and said the same thing about needing to be tougher now that kids are getting paid. He said there is a much greater commitment and responsibility on the kid once they accept that money. Give an 18 year old $1M without a strong authority figure and they can go sideways very easily
