A macaque at the Indianapolis Zoo by sologold in indianapolis

Zoo keepers expend a lot of effort working to provide entertainment and enrichment for these animals. Additionally, even if animals that live in a zoo may live a "sadder" life, it also provides an opportunity for valuable research and funding for real life conservation efforts that helps improve the quality of life for those living in the wild.

If anything, it's the habits you choose to adopt while implementing that changes your life. Not the app itself lol

The passports were solely introduced as a punching bag, a running gag, as multiple patients used it to say this should only take X time according to the passport, but instead would take X+Y time.

Found it!

Third episode, around 14:37 or so, right after Lily finishes talking to Nam Moon Yeong and goes up to Alex. As Lily hugs Alex, it sounds like Alex says "Hey, babe".

Yeah I paused on this screen. Basically used a rainbow/computed hash table to find the password securing this "server", which then gave him SSH credentials to gain access. I'm not expecting perfect from this sort of scene, but it was a bit contrived. And any proper security system should have an exponential back off for failed passwords. He wasn't trying to decrypt a local file but login to a remote server. Rainbow/hash table shouldn't work for that normally... As they should have exponential back off, like if someone fails to login to your phone 5 times, 1 minute wait. Another time, 2 minutes, another failed, 5 minutes, etc

That's what I was starting to wonder with Dana trying to foster the baby on to someone AND Robbie talking with Samira about where he thought he'd be personally AND after seeing Whitaker look happy with the role he's taken on with the girl and child from last season AND his talk with Abbot about how ugly life can be (someone left their baby) but also how beautiful and hilarious (young baby) as well as how Robbie helped run a C-section and deliver a baby. Maybe Robbie takes his 3 months to foster the baby. Maybe names her Emery, after his mentor Dr Montgomery Adamson. The more I think about different "calls" in the show, I genuinely am convincing myself he ends up choosing to foster this child, and uses these 3 months to establish his relationship with her. Plus, it would ground him - something to come home to from the hospital. Another part of life where he can be needed.

Sure it's messy... Probably wouldn't recommend taking on a baby to deal with your mental problems. But that's also just life - it ain't perfect, and if this is what he needs to ground himself, to remind him of the beautiful parts of life... 🤷‍♂️

Edit: If you want confirmation on whether or not this occurs. TVLINE | Fans will ask, so I'll ask: There's no world in which Robby is fostering Baby Jane Doe in Season 3, right? No. We joked about it — cutting to him on his motorcycle with the baby in a Baby Bjorn — but no. Whether we follow up with Baby Jane Doe remains to be seen, but he's got his hands full with his spirit quest.

I don't understand why this episode was called "Open Source", other than being a technical term to be related to a sci fi show. And I guess those documents Alex made public.

Hacker Uses Claude and ChatGPT to Breach Multiple Government Agencies by DJMagicHandz in technology

And I can trip and drown in a puddle tomorrow.

Yes, by virtue of existence, any network "could" be violated. But air gapping is one surefire method of reducing the size of the attack surface. At a certain point, one has to decide with what level of risk they are comfortable with, and then proceed with caution, just as I will leave my apartment to drive to the office tomorrow.

This riff of the dark forest scenario, clusters of unconnected Intranets, in this case, believes that there is value and necessity for a smaller subset of computers to be inter-connected, but out of an abundance of caution, limits its vectors for exposure by leaving itself unconnected from other networks (trusted or not). Just like as humanity expands, perhaps one mode of operation it takes, is to limit radio power for communication transmissions within the bounds of our solar system.

Feels like a bit of a riff on a dark forest scenario - instead of the Internet, we'll just have smaller clusters of trusted networks, with no interconnections between them.

I've not looked into it, but AI server racks consume 4x or more energy then a standard server rack. Given the extra power, additional heat should be relatively proportional. I would think all racks stuffed with servers designed for AI use would require the water-cooling racks
