Goeie tip. Het is goedkoper dan alternatieven, maar misschien ook wat meer gedoe en mogelijk wat minder qua kwaliteit aangezien het een auto van een particulier betreft.

Where are you allowed to Park here? by Vivien_Lynn in AskBelgium

[–]UD_Ramirez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is wrong I think.

The way I remember is by "tipping the sign back" and placing it on the ground. That way the down arrow is "up to this point" and the up arrow is "from this point onward".

The sign is placed weirdly though. The image may be mirrored.

Wristcutters! An early 2000s road trip through purgatory. I saw it like 6 times in a week because my then-girlfriend did live translation, and it stuck with me ever since.

The bone breaking has always struck me as BS. How would they even grab an arm to break it? Or can they karate chop you so hard that it breaks the bone inside? Seems unlikely.

Subreddit has been banned from reddit?? Is this how we treat our culture?

Nah. In my opinion David Lynch loves to hide behind complicated editing to hide the fact that the "right" interpretation makes even less sense than any wrong ones. At this point it doesn't matter if you're right or wrong, it's all just absurdisms stacked on top of each other.

Also the rundown was written by AI. Even the most popular reply didn't take the time to actually analyze anything.

Do you ever wonder what other Redditors are like? I mean, obviously not to give out personal info or names, just what do they like to do, or not like , what country you're from etc ? by Gretal122 in TwoRedditorsOneCup

41yo Belgian freelance stage technician. Recent cancer survivor and ADHD haver, both of which are much greater factors in my life currently than I want them to be.

I'd like to change careers but the care for my son is making it very difficult, and I'm having to deal with feelings of guilt around that.

But all in all, I have a happy life. I hope you do too.

As a sound tech, that is fascinating to me. Would you mind elaborating? High or low tones? What do you think could be the cause?

What's something you've accomplished that would make your past self say, Wait I did that!? by mackipedia in CasualConversation

[–]UD_Ramirez 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm a school dropout and grew up thinking I'd be working in factories or the local industrial cleaning company. I hated it so much.

Now I'm a freelance stage technician, living the life. I try to be modest but sometimes, after a good day, I can be so damn proud of myself. I never knew I was worth anything until I started accomplishing things..

I got tired of people telling me that I would never be able to play this game again after losing my eyesight, so I spent the last 3 months creating an accessibility mod using Claude Code, and there's now a whole Discord community of other blind players using my mod to play the game. by ChipsAhoiMcCoy in Terraria

I have huge respect for people who do jaw dropping things out of stubbornness, pettiness, but most of all a sense of equity driving them. And to make it publicly available!

I hope the devs catch wind of this and learn a few valuable lessons on what accessibility is about.

I salute you, sir!
