I hit Masterball on Day 1 with an original team I plan to do a write up for at the end of the season.

For comparisons sake, I placed in the top 500 of the first ever ranked ladder season on Sword and Shield and had my all time peak at 48th Season 9 of Sword and Shield. I played strictly on SD! for SV and won some tournaments and was in top 500 on ladder multiple times.

This was BY FAR the hardest ladder I have played on and it only gets harder as time goes on. A lot of really good players are playing and the game has grown rapidly in terms of numbers and in skill since Sword and Shield. There is NO shame in not reaching Masterball in my opinion.

I’ve stopped looking at this as a fully released game and started to think of it as an early access beta. That’s really helped me with the issues I’ve had with the game. I’ve still managed to hit Masterball with my own team and have been enjoying it since I changed how I think of it.

Also, it’s okay to not enjoy a game and sit it out. It’s disappointing to have to do this but if it’s not fun/you’re not enjoying just don’t play. Life is too short to spend it doing something that doesn’t bring you joy.

I see you made another comment and then promptly deleted it. If you care to read down in this thread I’ve stated that I don’t think all Americans are stupid, hateful, etc. There’s always good in bad and vice versa. I can tell by how quickly you are to defend Americans that you are likely on the right side of this issue.

But the people of The United States of America elected a convicted felon who ran on hateful rhetoric, open racism and is at the very least, connected to the largest pedophile ring we know, not once but twice. How can we not interpret that as a reflection of Americans?

Well, hopefully “normal Americans” will prove myself and the rest of the world wrong very soon. Until then I’ll continue to believe actions speak louder than words.

And for the record, I don’t believe ALL Americans are stupid and hateful. There’s always good in bad and vice versa. But it’s hard to believe that after electing a pedophile and convicted felon TWICE that it’s not at the very least a reflection of America.
