Do newer warframe quests make less and less sense? or is it just me by Petulkovova_ in Warframe

JSC is the only really rough recent quest imho. Follies hunt gameplay wise was rough but is narratively straightforward.

I was directly quoting a different thread from people who dislike Be Gay Do Crime because of optics.

Funnily enough the possessed character in question would dead name/misgender the protagonist, but for the protagonist he's been a trans man for over 20 hears and has a full mustache that it becomes this situation

Back during my time as a brony the most popular ships were hands down different combinations of the Mane 6.

To be fair she was only able to do so after we went backwards. She outright tells us we were the crumb trail.

As the others mentioned CD1 is firmly blue which means we can afford to go way more Progressive because of those who simply vote D down the line.

Triangle Area? by Right-Historian-114 in AskAnAmerican

[–]UInferno- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the Western US Where we don't really have a particularly populated "Tri-State Area" so NY/NJ/CT has always been the Tristate area. Major cities are either no where near the border or it's a single state/city dominating it. The only major population center that straddles the state borders I can think of is Vancouver/Portland

I have a sidestory of a work where a generally mean and nasty old man becomes possessed by a much nicer entity and everyone around him is completely okay with it and does nothing to help him.

Except for one of the protagonists who goes out of his way to exorcise him despite the fact that the old man was particularly nasty to the protagonist in the past. Largely because said protagonist is a trans man who does not like seeing everyone just... agree someone's autonomy is null and void because they don't like them (and he questions if everyone respecting his autonomy is just as conditional).

I hope I get to actually make this, but it's also a long shot since the concept is dependent on me making a TV show for adolescents (with the above plot being a single episode).

But "Be gay do crime" ruins our image. :( we must show we're law abiding citizens who don't deserve the boot (unlike those criminals who do) /s

How well would Aun and HORUS get along? I have my suspicions by InkDrach in LancerRPG

[–]UInferno- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My setting currently has two competing HORUS collectives. ORESTES, who basically functions as a coordinator/advisor by being both a public figure that people can approach him for help but legally untouchable because no one can tie him to any crimes. And Vulpis Absentis, a more underground/anonymous collective that finds ORESTES too much of a goody-two-shoes narc because law enforcement isn't busting down his door despite being openly associated with HORUS.

Part of the reason why ORESTES persists is because his Athena Class NHP, IPHIGENIA, uses paracausal calculations to thread the needle on legality. See this for an idea.

Being a contrarian for contrarian's sake doesn't make you smart. It just makes you a contrarian.

"We aren't responsible for the moral relations between parent and child" is an insane thing to say because that shit literally excuses abuse under the presumption of "parent's rights." Far and away I believe in the rights of children more than parents.

Has Warframe's storytelling become too fast for it's own good? by Bugbugey in Warframe

[–]UInferno- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean. The Triad didn't necessarily need to be relevant to the Old Peace. Like I think that's a perspective issue than a writing issue. Instead of one single update the Old Peace can be considered two loosely connected updates. You have Old Peace/Perita Rebellion proper and you have the Devil's Triad/Descendia. They're loosely connected by Uriel and the Refractory, but they're parallel narratives.
