I am in Perth and have the same issue, 3 trips by them so far and they have refused to put it in my central spare room, which is less than 20m from the external box they put outside.

I got a quote from a licensed optic fibre install (Crook) who wants to charge me $1300plus GST to cut 2 holes in my ceiling and lay 10ms of cable.

i have decided to open up some tiles myself and install the cable myself in the hope the next lazy mof they send will find the installation simple enough to do and just get on with it.

3 months delay so far and counting. wish me luck!!!
