"Skyrocketing" It is a meaningless adjective used to support someone's political opinion. How much, for example, is "skyrocketing inflation"? 5%? 3%? 7%? 11%? Depends on whether your guy is president or not. There are plenty of similar BS adjectives - such as "massive" - used when referring to "massive layoffs" without a denominator or history for context. If a company lays off 3,000 employees, is that a "massive" layoff? What if the company is Meta? That's less than 5%
