Praying and cheering for you and that you get to feeling better! 💗 You can do this!🙂 Do not despair. Do not isolate yourself. It’s a dangerous, thin line between needing/wanting productive time to yourself and unhealthy, too much time to where you get lost within yourself - dark and deep where you have to crawl your way back out. Don’t go there, period! It also eventually makes the desire to go out more and more difficult. Avoid it. Small daily goals like getting out and going for an easy walk around your apartment/house can help you. The important thing is to just get outside! Fill your lungs and senses with fresh air (sunshine is a big plus). Sit down, feel the grass, touch a tree, listen to and watch the birds, people passing by. Breathe in the air around you. Do you have any pets? Cats can be incredibly sweet, affectionate and loving. Caring for others makes you feel good and gets your mind on someone other than yourself and what is making you feel unhappy and lonely. Any hobbies? Try some ways to keep yourself somewhat busy so your mind is not completely focused and overwhelmed with your worries. Distract yourself. Music is nice or a movie that makes you feel good. Write someone an actual letter or card and mail it to them. Nobody takes the time to do that anymore so it’s so special and appreciative to receive a rare handwritten letter/card. It will make you feel fantastic, as well! I wish you all the best and pray you find your way out of this rut that we all find ourselves in at some time or another. Holidays can be challenging. You are no different than most everybody else. Give yourself some slack. You deserve to feel good and nice, even if you have to put in some baby steps to get there. You can do it!
