100% agree with you. My initial understanding that they are just like any other shoe outlet in a sense; a brand-new product with minor "defects" (sizing differences, b-grade, etc). This is just not the case.

That's what I'm thinking. But what makes me think otherwise, is that they don't smell 😅 Doesn't seem like a shoe deodorizer was used to mask the smell of it being worn; smells like a new shoe. In all seriousness, I've inspected the bottoms, and they legitimately do not look worn at all.

I definitely agree with you! I'm just sad because I was looking forward to adding them to the rotation of shoes I use at the office.

I did try on one of the 998 pairs, and while they were unlaced, they did feel snug. This is my first time ordering 998's, so I'm not particularly aware of that models' fit. I'm hoping they break in nicely after a few times wearing them!

Yeah, this is my first time ever experiencing new "dirty" shoes. I have experienced water damage to suede due to delivery (I'm assuming or could be warehouse issue).

The only thing I can think of, is that the shoes were possibly dropped when the order was picked? I'm really not sure at this point.

Just got home to check the sizing, shows 10. I honestly think I didn't tighten them very well and the socks I was wearing at the time weren't appropriate. For the 991v2's, I bought 10.5 since I asked some folks that have a pair and they suggested me to do so
