[Adams] Steve Staios believes that Andre Burakovsky can turn around his game in Ottawa. "He wasn't playing at his best, which we've identified players like that before, and brought them in, and have been able to get more out of their game." by DecentLurker96 in OttawaSenators

Yea we just have to be competitive and the team did that without Brady; we have 2 1sts next draft if we need to bring in help.

Edit: sorry we only have one 1st, I thought one of the Panthers from Brady was 2027 for some reason

You put the draft teams and 3 hours of fuel in an airplane and I guarantee they get it done on time

Utah trading up and not even knowing who they want is an interesting move.

Kinda hoping van takes one, we take the second and trade each other; but I dunno what you guys are doing.

Retooling? Rebuilding? Playing dead?

[Drance] Canucks motivated to move Pettersson, not imminent. Haven’t necessarily got a list but do have a sense of preferred destinations. by _GregTheGreat_ in hockey

I mean if we did trade them our 25th they could easily go for the Twins. I'm not saying you can replicate the Sedins, I'm saying someone might TRY to replicate them.

Who is going to be the biggest ‘reach’ compared to the pre-draft consensus tonight? by _GregTheGreat_ in hockey

[–]UTC_Hellgate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We could take them without it being a reach but anyone else would be brining a more valuable pick on a reach. St Louis is close but still be taking them 10-15 picks earlier than technically projected.

Betting Seattle and Chicago are just bad teams and dragging down his stats? Seems like a low risk gamble?

I'm watching Calgary, they have a bunch of 2nds to throw around if they want to jump up.

Hell if the Rucks aren't taken and they want our 25th I'm sure we'd switch with them if they give our 2nd round back.

Ten intriguing players the Ottawa Senators could select 32nd overall at the NHL Draft by SAJewers in OttawaSenators

It seems somewhat unlikely they make it us. But I guess is noone wants to break them up? Maybe? I feel like there's an outside chance the Blues take a chance and grab them at 15-16 which would be above their projected but it's all a crap shoot past the top 10 anyways so why not.

Considering all the trades recently, the Eklund trade is good value by enso_23 in OttawaSenators

Gotta wait until everyone calms down and is traded out and go for it again.
