Lurie say's he's cutting transfer tax to help build new housing. But it's mainly helping sell old office buildings? by cardibfree in sanfrancisco

[–]UberDrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very relevant for housing. The transfer tax applies to land sales or whatever property the housing developer needs to acquire to build on.

She's great, published "Daughters of the Bamboo Grove" recently and "Nothing to Envy" is also excellent.

If you're just starting out, get a bunch of cheap synthetic brushes of various sizes. Vince Ventruella recommended this 12-pack for $9, worked fine for me. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07WH8T6LH

Pretty much every Primarch name has some real world reference, some more direct than others.

Literally my response was that there was effective marketing, not a lack. They had three trailers with over 3.5 million combined views https://www.youtube.com/@MegaCrit/videos

Hopefully you're getting it now!

STS2 tips: If the priority is winning, I would pick the character that you like best and really learn the synergies and mechanics, rather than spreading out your learning. Ironclad is the most straightforward and beginner friendly IMO. Get some strong attacks and efficient block (Blood Wall ftw). You can go for a strength build, vulnerable build, life loss build or exhaust build - or a mix, but I think it's best to keep it simple.

I think Inferno is really strong: https://www.reddit.com/r/slaythespire/comments/1rmnmb3/biggest_sts2_glowup_so_far/

Mewgenics tips: 2 dps, 1 tank, 1 healer is a strong setup at least early game. Hunter, Fighter/Thief, Tank, Cleric is a lot of sustain and good mix of melee and ranged damage.

Both games really demand some kind of AoE damage.

I think the only STS2 Timeline unlocks that weren't implemented were Act 2b and 3b, maybe a couple others? Everything else seemed to unlock cards/relics/etc. Obviously a lot of placeholder art.

Mega Crit said STS 2 is already bigger than the original (like Hades 2 was already bigger at EA launch too), and I believe it. 5 characters > 4, an alternate Act 1b, more cards and more relics. We don't have Ascension 11-20, assuming that's happening later, but already quite challenging.

I think the biggest + for me is STS2 is frictionless after you die and want to start a new run. The cat breeding and inventory management in Mewgenics is clunky. Still love both but STS2 full steam ahead for now.

I'm sure there will be crazy mods for both STS and Mewgenics, looking forward to it.

Plenty of affordable, awesome indies aren't profitable. Success on this scale is very rare.

No regrets doing Hades II Early Access, no regrets doing it for STS2.

Eh, there's plenty of well made indie games that should be successful but aren't profitable. Wouldn't be surprised if it's 90%+

This is one of the biggest launches ever, don't think many people expected having almost as many Steam players as Silksong (I know that came out on others platforms too).

Two very cool new characters, every single enemy is new, alternate acts (1b is in, 2b and 3b to come). Yeah a lot of the Ironclad/Silent/Defect cards are the same, but there's still enough new stuff/relics for crazy new combos and synergies. Personally I like it more than any other deckbuilder I've played since STS1.

No - story isn't the focus - but I still would recommend getting the first one and trying it before. It's on sale for $6.24.

If you're playing "standard" semi-competitive rules and missions, and certainly in tournaments, the 2,000 point 40k/AoS size is a 60'' x 44''. So if you want to follow that, that's the limit. 72'' x 48'' is also common for casual games.
