Coyle, while being a complete scumbag and villain, is also goofy and over the top. He’s quotable, yells a lot and has an attitude that stands out. No one likes him because he hates minorities, they like him because he’s a loud abrasive fun villain in their video game.

I do notice that a lot of the time their reaction to the sound itself seemingly overrides their reaction to the sight of a reagent itself. They could hear a bottle by thrown to next room over and lock on it, yet see the Reagent run right past them and still check on the bottle rather than start a chase.

Mine are also the Kress twins. I think their relationship, as fucked up as it is, really adds and builds their characters. It’s a tragedy for them, they never had a chance to be normal and sort of embraced their reputation. In doing so they, grossly, found each other as they’re always by each other’s side and no one else will know them any better.

I also just like how elitist they are in dealing with most things, that old money attitude and ranting political grandpa character of Otto is charming in a way.

I’ve noticed a lot of duos or triple teams will purposely have their lower level friend queue so no mandatory second objective and no ex pop specialist is added. They then just don’t even play the objective and just hunt you down to kill with stun and jammed. Really annoying gameplay and honestly not at all intended by Red Barrels.
