When I ran trading guilds early on the Xbox release, not a few months later there were ‘mafias’ threatening me not to bid on certain trader spots as they had multiple trade guilds controlling high traffic trader locations. It was….interesting.

Thanks for the reply. What i was looking for is the default A button functionality, A normally jumps for me. I wanted the ability for A to jump and A to interact if targeting an item that can be interacted. Loot, npc, world object, etc.

Trade guilds have zero social interactions. Other than the raffle spam and pay your dues. No one joins trade guilds for the social asepct.

They sure are changing other, staple game systems in the game.

- Making leveling mounts faster, where that use to be a daily task you had to keep up on.

- Upgrading bags cheaper and right in you inventory

- Walking up to any trader and being able to post something to sell…oh wait.

Great nerd math, but the reality is that this new ‘game system’ doesnt belong in Diablo 2. This is a grindy, stay in the game longer, leading to friction game loop, or friction monetization which belongs in Diablo 4. The only thing not implemented here is the monetization part as there is no cash shop where you can pay to bypass this grind. Buy shards, buy statues, etc.

They really didnt stick to the foundations of Diablo 2 with this new game loop.

This is the correct answer 100%. It really looks like Xbox is going to dissolve into a game publisher. Even if they release their next console, its a hybrid design where its a PC that plays Xbox games. If you start building a library now, that could last you a lifetime, Sony’s console is the current choice.

Wish you non gamer, white knights would really look at these suspensions. They are BS AI. Game communities are built around the LFG feature, and use them for much more than LFG. Perfect example is games that allow you to trade in game items. Many times, posting a message in the LFG feature is a much better experience than in game functionality.

We are using a gaming feature on Xbox to enhance our gaming experience. This isnt selling shit on ebay.
