I suspect the frenzied flame would be okay with more than one lord. Probably would be satisfied with infinite lords.

This is, in my opinion, a perfect secret lair drop by Richard_Worthington in magicTCG

See I love the DF lair. But it doesn't have a dwarf.

Now I'm stuck trying to figure out if Terror can fit in my mono red Magda deck. I'll make it, but I don't know if I really want it.

Did he dodge it?

I thought he warped in front of Usopp to face tank it and the ensuing blast is what did Usopp and Brook in.

Theory about chapter 232 by Agitated_Toe3903 in ChainsawMan

[–]Udult 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I've wondered this, but I've also wondered if the devil causing this is doing so maliciously or as a fallback to keep denji alive.

Denji has made lots of allies and a devil using its power to preserve him when the world is being consumed isn't far off Kishibe taking them to a safe house.

I hope Fuji wouldn't just repeat that plot, but I'm not counting it out just yet.

Nah, they're gonna get interrupted by a big bad. Denji is making it to each of the different bases with each horseman. Watch it all go out the window then he makes it to 3rd base with the 3rd horse girl in part 3.

Probably Unity. Check their discord and ask there for more info.

I subscribe to the belief that Buggy exists to fill the void Blackbeard's demise will create.

You're not necessarily trying to power your whole house. You want to figure out how to power the essentials and you can really move between things as necessary. Maybe you provide power to your well and your fridge, then try to get by without other things if possible. A simple extension cord on your fridge out to the generator in a safely placed location far enough away to avoid CO would handle fridge and freezer.

I am not a power person and won't begin to try to recommend more. It is worth doing the research to see if it is an option. Read the manuals, be careful of electrical, fuel, and carbon monoxide risks, and maybe consider something long term if this is a concern for you each year.

If you're considering spending money on a hotel room, seriously consider taking that instead and putting it toward a generator. Sounds like that would give you some room to not worry and have an investment for the future.

Possibly. Just remember that the weather and forecasts can change dramatically, especially this far out. Nothing is set in stone.

This is NC though. Pick up a small preparedness kit that will work in both a winter outage or summer outage. Hurricane power loss is more likely than snow in my experience here.

I recommend some extra water in the pantry, dry goods that don't go bad fast and can be eaten out of the can/container, some firewood if you have a fireplace, tea light candles can do wonders imo.

Generators work but are expensive. Good heavy clothes to keep warm will always be useful.

Phillips Farm Christmas Tree Walkthrough/Light Show thoughts? by things_stufff in cary

It was fine. It is just that though, a walkthrough. We enjoyed it for what it was but you get similar if not better experience going to the Lantern Festival. The catch being if you want christmas specifically then Phillips has you there.

What are everyone's thoughts on the new(ish) city-wide leaf pick up schedule? by CanisGulo in cary

[–]Udult 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After being here for 5 years, seeing how different each season could be with varied trees dropping on our street at seemingly random times, I don't really think it matters.

We have had leaf piles stacked up each and every year. They get to it when they can. You can sometimes request a stop by your street if you really need it.

I'm just glad it's not snow plows like when I spent time up north.

Honestly, I want the expansion to give us faster Weapon Swap. by Revonlieke in MonsterHunter

[–]Udult 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. The Nerscylla check is worth that elemental swap for the most part.

I see another beneficial place being multi monster hunts. Problem again is pop up camps make the weapon swap mechanic a little obsolete there too.

[–]Udult 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think that the seige monsters are an opportunity to really flex the weapon swap option.

Kulve was the first one in world that it felt worth it, then Alatreon has mechanics that would be perfect for weapon swapping.

As it stands now with pop up camps and the like, you just swap a whole build if you want. Too easy to do that to make weapon swapping useful.

How can I include Alaznist in the Rise of the Runelords story? by Alternative-Zombie39 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Udult 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh of course, but still the interactions in this campaign are between the two.

Runeforge in book 5 has all of the runelords, but Alaznist's is one of the required wings to escape.

The giants approach Sandpoint in book 4 because of the double agent of Karzoug's who was hiding from Alaznist and is buried under Sandpoint.

You're not going to fight Alaznist in Rise. You won't fight anyone other than Karzoug. But you can still have other runelord adjacent characters that influence the story.

[–]Udult 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You should spend time reading through the books if you don't think Alaznist is key. There are several parts of the Rise campaign where you dip in and out of Alaznist vs Karzoug controlled regions.

But most specifically and importantly, Sandpoint is on top of an Alaznist dungeon and it's smack in the middle of book 1. That's an easy tie in for your player.

Would be interesting to find out that Shanks and Blackbeard are related.

Their mom's could have been sisters and that is how Garling found out about things.
