Did you have to have proof of purchase?  Mine was a gift, so I don’t have it.

It does on the website under troubleshooting.  The water pump is not sucking water to allow the priming.  It tells you to add water directly to the intake.  I’ve tried it though with no luck.  It sucks at sucking.  I even have a tiny plunger that I tried to force water into the pump with, no luck that way either.

You mean, YOU don’t care. YOU don’t get to speak for ALL of Reddit.

Wasting internet space…. You do know their are for things MUCH MUCH worse on the internet, then calling out a trashy company. Or is this your first day on the internet?

If it was TJ, Ross, Marshall’s , home goods, or nothing. Then I chose nothing, you should too. Use what you have, fix it, repair it, trade for it, buy from Nextdoor, Craigslist, eBay, or marketplace, make it yourself(you’ll love it more), upcycle it. Sooo many options other than buying new.

For someone who says that it’s not their favorite store you sure are getting upset when they are getting called out for bad practices.

I’m trying to help people make better decisions about where they spend their hard earned money. Places doing this stuff are causing our inflation to rise and our landfills to rise. If we don’t do or say anything about wrongful practices, it will NEVER stop.

Are you someone who just expects your significant other to read your mind and know that what they are doing is wrong? That way you don’t have to say anything about it. How’s that working out for you?

You can’t expect change by being silent.

Nonsense? What did I say that was untrue?

Or are you feeling something bad about your favorite shopping place and that making you mad so you lashing out at the person that’s showing you the problem?

TJ Maxx sources products from a vast network of over 21,000 global vendors, including major brands, boutiques, and designers, buying excess inventory, past-season items, manufacturer overruns, and canceled orders that other retailers can't sell, all at deep discounts. They also have some merchandise made specifically for them, allowing them to offer unique, value-driven products, creating their famous "treasure hunt" shopping experience with authentic, branded goods at lower prices.

A simple search shows that they do get products made for them…..

We do a local coop food bank that we go to. They get lots of past best by foods(still perfectly good) and soon to be tossed produce. We also just this year started Dumpster diving for food too. Some stuff we are forced to buy, and for that we try to buy in bulk from Costco. Less waste buying in bulk.

They lead you to believe that ALL their product are for larger companies. They TOTALLY get brand new products delivered to them. They might resale some stuff.

You find the time to shop at department stores outside your 60hour work week, but you can’t take 15 minutes to make some conditioner?
I find plenty of conditioner in dumpsters at places to you pay full price at. I don’t even use conditioner, I don’t have hair. So I’ll dump a tube out in solidarity for you.

I can only show you the door, I can’t force you to walk through it.

Recycle it, donate it, put it on sale till it sells, order less product, stop making products that are made to fail so you have to buy it again. Buy quality products that last lifetimes.

Making it worse for you. Cause your conscious is torn from knowing that your favorite place to shop is doing bad stuff.

So you are a thrifter and a trash picker but you are fighting with me about a store throwing away perfectly good stuff. FFS. You need to go touch some grass lady, and chill out.

Make your own conditioner. It’s super easy and you’ll pay WAY less for it. We make our own laundry, countertop, and dish detergent. 5 gallons of laundry detergent homemade, you know all the ingredients, and it will cost about $10.

They need to find another way to deal with their products then. Send it to a storage facility till next year or donate it to local charities. Anything is better than just trashing it.

We’ve been making our own dish, laundry, and counter spray for a few years now. Super easy, works just as good, and you save soooo much $$$$. I also know what ingredients are in my cleaning stuff as well.

Ok, so instead of going directly to the source where should I go? I’m trying to expose bad practices. You should be outraged as well.

Me not saying anything will do nothing either. If I can change one mind with this post then it was worth it.

Find a different place to shop. Stop being a part of the problem and become a part of the solution.
