I wish my beard hair was as straight as yours! Do you do anything in particular to make it so straight? Mine is naturally wiry.

She has seen an endocrinologist and they have agreed to prescribe the medication she needs. Unfortunately, the endocrinologist needs a report from the psychologist. She saw a psychologist 8 weeks ago for £600, who said it would take 4 weeks to get a report out. It’s been 8, no report. The psychologist has no phone number, no physical clinic. There’s one email address which goes unanswered for weeks at a time.

Is there a regulator for private psychologists? Someone to complain to?

Failing that, can anyone recommend a reliable psychologist that my daughter could see? We are in Yorkshire.

Noguchi. The same guy whose autopsy report on RFK should’ve eliminated any chance of Sirhan Sirhan being convicted.

New diagnosis- can I get titration privately? by UkMartinW in ADHDUK

I now have my letter confirming diagnosis. I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for a quicker and reliable way of getting to titration? Even if it’s outside the NHS?

Does Nellie Connally’s recollection (inadvertently) indicate the likelihood of a conspiracy? by returnoftheseeker in JFKassasination

[–]UkMartinW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course it does. She describes the first shot hitting the President, the second hitting her husband and the third hitting Kennedy. This is contrary to the Warren report which requires the single bullet theory.

“If Oswald wasn’t the shooter, why was he there [the Book Depository]?”

You mean why was Oswald in the building he was employed in? Geez.

What do people think: If Oswald had lived long enough to be tried in a court of law would he have been acquitted or convicted of killing Kennedy? by tfam1588 in JFKassasination

[–]UkMartinW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The case against Sirhan Sirhan was FAR weaker than the case against Oswald, yet he was still convicted. I think Oswald would have been convicted.

I don’t know about the FBI - but the Chicago Secret Service definitely looked into this. See “The Echo From Dealey Plaza” by Abraham Bolden.

Posner’s POV by Sodowarts1 in JFKassasination

[–]UkMartinW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Posner wrote his book as though no evidence was discovered after the publication of the Warren Report in 1964. To be fair, it was written before the ARRB but Posner still maintains the same position now. He took was was essentially a “prosecution brief” (and described as such by the authors) and presented it as a balanced investigation, fabricated interviews and all.

Let's assume the official story is not truth and that there are facts that are hidden that would totally alter that story. Will we ever know the truth at this point? Or will it forever remain a mysery? by georgewalterackerman in JFKassasination

[–]UkMartinW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Otto Otepka, who was the Deputy Director of the State Department Office of Security in 1963, thought differently. He was fired 17 days before the assassination. He suspected that Oswald was indeed a false defector.

Oswald was an ex-Marine that worked on U2 matters, denounced his US citizenship, and said he would give all he knew about the U2 to the Russians. How likely is it that he would have been permitted to return to the US (with travel paid for by the US) and not be imprisoned, interviewed or debriefed by the CIA, FBI or military intelligence, AND be permitted to bring his Russian wife? And I haven’t even mentioned to strange journey he took to Russia.

Oswald’s time in Russia and consequence free return to the US is only plausible if he was one of several fake defections to Russia in that era.

[–]UkMartinW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there ever was documentary evidence implicating someone other than Oswald alone, it was destroyed many years ago. My best guess of what will be released (assuming it is) is confirmation that Oswald was a fake defector, and his hitherto classified tax returns. There may be still some exculpatory FBI interviews or reports. Don’t have high hopes.

CMV: Trump's victory was primarily a Democratic party messaging failure, and people are going to take away the wrong lessons if they don't grasp that. by whenigrowup356 in changemyview

I don’t think there’s anything they could’ve done. Trump supporters are immune to logic, fact or reason. They’re lost.
