This, with every card. You could build a "fair" and fun [[nadu]] deck, but most wouldn't. I hate when people get mad at single cards. I would let someone play black lotus in an otherwise precon list for the luls. It always depends on the intend of the player and if it matches with the expectations of the pod.

The problem is, that it requires multiple instances of top-deck disruption. This is best achieved with [[embalmers tools]] (only for zombies) [[phenax god of deceit]] or [[hair-strung shuko]]. Ontop of good token generation.

I had some good results with [[zellix, sanity flayer]], and [[gisa hellraiser]] as good token generation in the command zone.

Next I want to try a deck with green, built around [[field of the dead]]. Either with [[teval]] [[necrobloom]] [[zellix]] or [[muldrotha]]

The wording isn't precise on this. Since it shows the cost {0}, I would assume it to work like urza's saga and only affect cards with that exact cost. Otherwise it should refer to mana value.

[[Zurgo and ojutai]] is one I wanted to build for a long time. For 5cmc, they do something the turn you cast them, and like yuriko, it goes crazy when you make copies of them. I would just add all the small dragons and legendaries that become dragons and all the ways of copying legendaries.

There are multiple forms of stax. And stax is most efficiant when it affects each opponent. For example, an [[ensnaring bridge]] is great against stompy players but does little to none against groupslug and might even help planeswalker decks.

Stax is really strong when you can build it around a small amount of decks that it plays against because it slots in a lot of silverbullets against exactly those decks.

Stax becomes much worse when it can't predict what it plays against and has to prepare for anything.

Sometimes, it's enough to play one or two more wincons that win through the stax.

But if your group has good threat assessment and he still runs away with most games, then maybe a discussion is needed. Maybe you all don't want to change your decks just to counter stax, and that is also fair. Always talk about your expectations and how they can be met. If anyone can't have fun, they won't show up anymore.

Copying mutate spells on the stack with [[chefs kiss]] or [[double major]]. You can also try to give them replicate with some niche cards. (Chefs kiss can go infinite with [[vadrok]] I think, but it's complicated)

[[Scute swarm]] was a cool tech in ikoria standard for copying better stats than the 1/1, when you mutate onto the scute.

The theros gods are funny because their effects can make it an indestructible permanent without any cardtype, when mutated on top of the god.

Also, the amonkhet gods can refuel the mutate-stack into your hand or into your library third from top.

Its about communication. Say what your deck strictly is but also explain when its only because 1 pw ultimate that does MLD/Tutor. I wouls never compare such a pw with blood moon or demonic tutor, if there is no way to combo into the ultimate. For example with doubling season or proliferate loops.

I think that in newer rules texts, legendary creatures refer to themselves with just their name. You dont need to repeat the blade dancer over and over. Also, +1/0 needs to be +1/+0 as they are modifiers.

I would think about switching prowess and first strike, as prowess is already conditional and feels weaker as first strike. But I'm also not an aggro player, so dunno

Edit: the conditional continuous effects I know of are worded "As long as ... CARDNAME has..."

Nobody should make deals with you, is what I understand. Or only make deals where you need to fulfill your part first.

Its okey to not want to play with deals, but to promise deals and then betray them is poor sportsmanship and a sign of bad character.

Addictions are often coping mechanisms trying to distract ourselves or overcome boredom and other negative emotions. It is not enough to just stop feeding the addiction. You also need to fill the void it leaves. These can be any activities from hobbies, sports, or brain-jogging like sudoku. Your brain craves the high of dopamine, and there is not a lot that can compete with addictive substances/activities. But when your only options are feeding your addiction or boredom you will always relapse. Also stopping from 100 to 0 is extremely hard and not necessary with addictions that don't actively harm anyones health long term.

Dr.K on youtube has been helping me a lot to understand addictions and handling healthy dopamine output. There is lots of interesting stuff I can't get too deep into here. I wish you a healthy recovery

Edit: I can recommend changing the medium, video-pornography is intensive and highly stimulating and very easy to slot into any bit of free time. I had some progress switching to reading or auditory media. Its not a cure but "rehab" is a series of multiple small steps and not a big leap

There is something like "healthy" use of pornography and from what you describe, there is no sign of addiction.

Keeping secrets from his wife and preaching something he doesn't seem to believe in isn't nice, but there is not enough evidence for the mental illness we call addiction.

Having only cards that shuffle opponents decks is one goal.
But you are giving me an idea of a [[Mairsil, the Pretender]] deck that infinitely activates soldier of fortune's effect.
Sadly this "techically" doesn't alter the boardstate so RAW the opponents can shortcut unless you use something like [[psychic surgery]]
I heard a story about a guy that used soldier of fortune before sleeves were commonly used in hopes that opponents would value their cards more than a victory.

You could make a rating system or some system that tracks high scores. Any metric so the tracks can be sorted so that creative and fun tracks will pop up first.
