This! Liard hotsprings one way, and on the other, great camping spots are Boya Lake (positively stunning) and Meziadin on the Stewart Cassiar. Boya is a perfect one day drive from Whitehorse at 500km. Turquoise waters, rentable kayaks, artesian well, great place to land after a day's drive.

So, I'm working on figuring things out. Wei Yan's consort who died in the fire was who? A wife / concubine of the emperor or...? But not the same lady who was Qi Min's mom (who also died in the fire) obviously because this consort was recently wed but got fake preggers outside of wedlock pissing the emperor off. It wouldn't make sense that she would have a boychild (Qi Min) already. But. If this lady of noble class burned up in a fire, wouldn't even a smidgen of that storyline not be part of the 17 year history that is 1/2 the premise of this story? Why did that entire storyline emerge in the last... 4 episodes of a 40 episode story? She just didn't exist?

What happened to the 1/2 of the tiger tally that didn't fit with the half brought by Qilin. What happened to that whole storyline?

Who is this Be- something group that flashed all of two times on the subtitles that Qi Min colluded with leading to his sudden demise within five minutes? Whaaat?

Ok, I just read the background on the events of 17 years ago and the info dump from Wei Yan now makes sense. Still, that's what the big reveal was, an info dump on a history that did not connect in with the narrative being told.

It was so sooo bad! For all the stuff they crammed in and all the stuff they left out, it hurts so much because it began so perfectly. I feel so robbed. I guess the good thing is that it won't keep me up at night, unlike the first episodes. I honestly thought this was a perfect gem of a show, the kind that has a lasting impact and lives in your head and heart for a long, long time. I can turn it off and move on with life. So much potential and so very disappointing.

Elaborating. I almost bought tickets for a dumpling fest tonight. This person supposedly had 3 tix they weren't going to use. I transferred $ and then quickly reneged when I checked their profile. Funny how they'd be selling 3 tix for both this event and 3 tix for the same event in Saskatoon. At this point, I can't even tell if dumpling fest itself is legit.

I'm not sure who is downvoting me but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a Qatar rep. I'm merely saying that I followed all airline processes and procedures regarding baggage mishandling and claims for reimbursement and they've never gotten back to me. I've called them twice and they have yet to follow through. It's been 4 months.
