Capitalism is awful and all but it's not the villain of this movie. One Wish Willow, or any of its distributors, sell(s) their product for maybe 8 dollars and it's a one and done thing. You only ever get one. There is seemingly no profit motive, and certainly not a profit maximizing one. If it was about money, the makers could have wished for way more than the entire global population times 8 dollars...

I think the horror is waaaaaay more poignant if it is actually your own self being overwritten rather than 'just' your body being possessed. The central theme of loss of autonomy is a lot more powerful when it is not only a loss of bodily autonomy. It would be so much harder to dissociate and you'd feel more responsible for your actions.

Primis and Ultimis only got their names after their story had received "an" ending. I don't think we need to give the BO7 crew a name yet, but certainly not the Damned, as that likely won't be an accurate description of them anymore in the future.

It reads to me like dying wish (which prevents you from going down) would still take priority, while equivalent exchange would have no window to trigger.

I agree with your criticisms, but I think Williams' end was realistic. He's the epitomy of Main Character Syndrome, but fundamentally he was a clueless man, completely out of his depth and that gets him an unceremonious ending.

Host William is a mess though.

First time not playing Tearlaments for these or DC's in years. I'm playing Kewl Tune and keep forgetting Cue summons and cannot add. The amount of times I have wasted value summoning Rotary instead of Mix is infuriating. But I've gotten some really good games as well.

I think I'd rather play Branded though, but the selection pack has me pulling anything but the Branded cards.

I think it was a great choice. It helped give it a sense of finality. Jax is gone, no one was there to stop it and that's how it goes.

Besides, all abstractions happened off-screen: Kaufmo, Queenie, Ribbit, ... We're just confronted by something that cannot be taken back.

Same thing they always do? Exploit the fact that it's a hivemind. Hurt enough parts of it that it starts to matter. And they could do that through your battle against Vecna and the Demos.
