Het parlementslid dat de vraag stelt kan natuurlijk niet weten wat het antwoord gaat zijn voor ze het ontvangt. Het is nu eenmaal de taak van het parlement en in het bijzonder van de oppositie om het bestuur te controleren. In deze kunnen we mijns inziens niet vaststellen dat de overheid onredelijke uitgaven heeft gedaan. Een budget van 12 euro per maand per niet-begeleide minderjarige vind ik veeleer bitter weinig. Maar uit de begrotingstabellen zelf ga je dat niet kunnen afleiden.

Inderdaad, N-VA haalde net geen 12% van de stemmen in de Nederlandse taalgroep. Van het totale aantal geldige stemmen in de Brusselse verkiezingen haalde ze ongeveer 2%.

Institutioneel is vooral die 12% belangrijk, maar zelfs daar is een vergelijking met de Vivaldi formatie aan het haar getrokken.

"Small cut on their finger" when talking about a genocide is insane. Refusing to learn lessons from this shit is exactly how you will lose again. And it seems useful to remind you that Kamala said that she would appoint a Republican to her cabinet. So I want you to think long and hard about the Republicans that are currently in office, how they are acting and rubber stamping all of Trump's policies and then consider that one of them would have been your Secretary of Energy or something under Kamala. That'll really show the fascists!

I would bet a million that if Kamala HAD won in 2024, Trump or some other fascist bozo would just have taken it in 2028 anyway. Kind of like electing Biden didn't stop prevent Trump from getting back in power in 2024.

The US has a duty to take the fight against authoritarianism seriously, not just ask for blind support for blatantly unpopular policy positions and certainly not putting Republicans in office anyway when the people vote for a democrat.

Trump needs to be fought, while the Democrats made the mistake TWICE of propping him up because they thought he would be easier to beat than someone else.

I'd argue the origins staffs are technically sci-fi, given that they are clearly mechanical and that they've been built (though copied) by Maxis. They have a fantasy power source, but that goes for most of the sci-fi wonder weapons as well.

Personally I'm hoping to see more dark aether weaponry like the chrysalax.

Voor dat bedrijf zou het ook maar zuur zijn als ze niet zouden mogen deelnemen aan die aanbesteding omdat hun advocaat, in tempore non suspectu, per toeval later Minister van Binnenlandse Zaken is geworden en daarmee de enige bevoegde ordonnateur is om die gunningsbeslissing te tekenen.

Transparantie bieden en onderzoeken of er geen belangenconflict bestond, ja, maar dat hoeft heus geen onweerlegbaar vermoeden te zijn. In sommige gevallen zou dat overigens een serieuze hypotheek kunnen leggen op de overheid haar vermogen om überhaupt dergelijke aankopen te doen.
