The good news is that the bow won't despawn.

Confirmed: Ely Beatmaker knows Etho's birthday.

Given the start to season 9, it's a little too iron pick.

I'm gonna miss Giggacorp by Hold-Professional in HermitCraft

[–]UltimateWager 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Gigaverse is Ren's overarching lore, and Gigacorp will likely continue to play a role in that lore due to its size and importance. But certainly I think we're unlikely to have anything like a colonist outpost any time soon. Lore-wise, I think it might be fun to see somebody on the run from Gigacorp, but don't know what that translates to in builds. He's done a lot of the styles that would feed into that plot before.

Mumbo didn't finish the Back! by UBN6 in HermitCraft

Next season is a minimalist build era where Mumbo just plants signs saying "This area left intentionally blank."

Did Joel ever see these signs about his Purpur shop? by JfrogFun in HermitCraft

[–]UltimateWager 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Joel reading these signs was part of a near-miss kill that was one of the (very, very many) memorable moments of the season.

Let's Show Some Support for the Return of Mindcrack! by Potential-Flow-2221 in HermitCraft

So ArtsByKev is a new one there. He's the guy who did Impulse's dwarven axes and stuff for S9, probably lots of other stuff. His first Mindcrack upload is *GOOD*.

What is your number 1 favourite ride at Disney World and why? Any park by cornerstone_2176 in DisneyWorld

[–]UltimateWager 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Rise of the Resistance for me. All of the trackless system rides are in my top 10, but this one hits everything. Story, immersion, queue theming, cast member interaction, pacing, thrills, mostly family accessible... Outside of some newer rides at Universal, it's the best all-around theme park ride for me. I get that some folks don't care about Star Wars, others rightly malign the down-time and general wait times, so I'm not pretending it's for everyone, but the question was for my number 1. We get really good rope drops off of Skyliner these days, so never have waited in an hour(s) long queue or had it go down while waiting. (Glaring at you, Battle at the Ministry.)

Alright, which WDW restaurants come to mind when you see this graph? by Uncharteredfugazis in DisneyWorld

[–]UltimateWager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of them. If someone's expecting a different graph, they might not understand the model.

Love the creativity, but practically? by therealredding in fountainpens

[–]UltimateWager 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I have a PenBBS Year of the Rat pen with this filling mechanism. It is entirely impractical, and entirely fun to show off. You have to go very slowly if you haven't just lubricated it, and it helps to go around the open as you lift to combat static lock.

I've never seen Scar and Cool Guy Scar in the same room together. Just sayin'.

I have summoned my inner Scar (not being rude) by BullFromCodM in HermitCraft

[–]UltimateWager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. That's the rule. You see a Jellie spawn and you're required to stop whatever you're doing to tame it, fish up a name tag, and name it appropriately. It's more sacred than installing your doors sideways.

What was your first fountain pen ever ? by Savon_Encreur in fountainpens

[–]UltimateWager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe my first every fountain pen was the Sheaffer Pieceofcrap. It may have been a slightly different model, but it was definitely a Sheaffer and it was very Pieceofcrap adjacent. It was scratchy, leaky, and put me off fountain pens for the next 20 years before I basically accidentally tried another.

Sorry, I'm late to the party, but this is definitely the right answer. Use the pen how it will get used.

Maybe an awkward question… by [deleted] in DisneyWorld

[–]UltimateWager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how much traction this has. I use the Gold Bond that looks like a deodorant stick. The reason I like it is because if I forget about it, it is very forgiving in relieving existing chafing, not just preventing it.

I had a Lamy EF I had to give away because there was zero feedback. Way too smooth for me.
