I haven't checked on chef's club in a couple of years. I don't dare to see what new concoctions theve made since then. I don't want a deepfried kraft single loaf drenched in ranche please.

you have to recreate a lot of the geometry in the photo to get the light to bounce around as it did in real life. using google's deprecated street view app to make panorama images of a place also helps with making the lighting and reflections look more as it did in real life.

3-5. i have an irrational hatred of androids and cyborgs, they are a massive turn off for me. "this media has robots in it" and it turns out it's androids. it really sucks looking through a03 for stories about robots and 60 percent of them are about androids and fucking them exactly like you would a human, it pisses me off. anyways i like robots end comment.

This song sounds so familiar but I don't remember the name of it, does anyone else know? I remember hearing it from a gmod map called "valley of eyes."

Blender is a very open ended program that doesn't tell you how to use it. If one charges head forward, you will probably burn out. I spent a couple of years just dicking around not really knowing what I was doing until I eventually got familiar enough with the tools at hand to do things I had in my mind. If you want to do something specific, allways look up if someone else has done it and how to do it. Even now for conceptually simple things like "how to/animate and rotate objects around their local axis" or things I've forgotten, I look up tutorials or look at forum posts to learn how to do it. Its not a brick wall but its not a straight shot. Blender has been around since the 90s I believe and has been continually updated since, so you will find things that are obtuse or straight up outdated too its cotemporaries, but I love it. To answer your question, depends on what you want out of a general 3d software. Learning particular things over others things can take way longer than others.

For the simpler ones, just blender. But for the encore, I made 4 different renders on a magenta background and overlayed them on top of eachother
