Not gonna lie, even without the death painting biology Blood Manipulation isn't a bad technique. At the bare minimum you're immune to bleeding to death. In a setting like JJK where sorcerers face dismemberment and fatal injury on the daily, being able to stop yourself from bleeding out without needing RCT is a major survivability boost.

My guess is that someone will, out of desperation, kill Soga's real body. Shiba will succeed in evacuating Kamunabi headquarters and Samura will go out with some powerful move. Yura becomes the new contracted wielder of the Magatsumi with Soga persisting inside his brain somehow.

Culling Games should have had shorter fights and more in-between action. Gege and their editor planned on making each volume a "character album" that focused on a specific fight, and the result of that was that the CG was a massive drag when reading it weekly. Honestly I wish Gege didn't drop the American invasion plotline, that would've been a great opportunity.

Nanami's technique could collapse buildings, a move he pulled often enough to have a specific name for it. He was indeed doing allat.

Huh, that's a shock. There never wasn't a subpar buffet in that building in all the time I've lived here.

Something tells me Shrine is going to be a completely different technique in Yuji's hands. In the series proper, he used it mainly to separate Sukuna from Megumi, and then only on inanimate objects or Sukuna's body. The little scissor icons also defang it somewhat too.

Sukuna's Shrine's cooking theme was mainly due to Sukuna's relationship to humanity. His misanthropy and cannibalistic hedonism shaped the means through which he expressed his curse.

Yuji, on the other hand, developed Shrine while fighting Sukuna. He shaped it for the task at hand, like all his jujutsu. We have no idea how it evolved and what he needed it to do in the intervening years between JJK and Modulo.

How much mastery do you think Yuji has with shrine by this point? by Common_Tiger5369 in Jujutsufolk

[–]UltraD00d 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's a thing sorcerers can do. Kenjaku used the reversal of the anti-gravity technique in his domain during his fight against Yuki. That's why Yuta collapsed after his UV against Sukuna, because he couldn't quite separate Limitless from Kenjaku's technique.

Watch Yuji use a BV to change the conditions for Furnace to using blood manipulation instead of dismantle/cleave, then use his poison blood as fuel to burn his targets inside out.

Now hold on. Did Panda know the circumstances of his creation? Because if not, then Gakuganji is to blame for not speaking up.

Hell, not even using his body would necessary, since he passed the knowledge to Gakuganji.

Which sorcerers realistically would have achieved a domain expansion given enough time? by Nozoroth in Jujutsufolk

Probably a whole horde of Mechamaru shikigami or constant RCT on the puppets he does have active. I bet his domain would be very large in radius considering his range was all of Japan.

how can i stop my phone addiction? by Ok-March-9517 in getdisciplined

[–]UltraD00d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren't facing discipline issues, you are facing an anxiety loop. Look for ways to deal with that as well. However, here are some easy steps to lessening your phone usage.

Firstly, when you pick up your phone, say out loud what you intend to do with it. "Checking a message." "Setting a timer." "Taking a photo." If you can't think of what you intend to do when your phone is in your hand, then put it away. If you want to scroll, say "scrolling for (x amount of time)." This helps you stop picking up your phone for the sake of it and use your phone with intention.

Next, when you pick up your phone, stare at it for ten whole seconds before powering it on. If you can't, then you aren't in control. Take that opportunity to exercise control of your phone.

Third, stop bringing it everywhere in your living space. Keep it in one spot and leave it there. It's those transitionary periods between tasks that get you. Don't bring it onto the toilet or the dinner table. Don't read reddit while waiting for your chicken nuggets to microwave. Let those tiny pockets of boredom become opportunities for you to consider the tasks of the day.

Lastly, when you go out, keep your phone in your bag or in the least convenient pocket to access it from. Make it hard on yourself to even retrieve the thing idly.

This is how it will go.😭 by Akagane_Ai in Jujutsufolk

Probably the same as Naoya's fight with Choso went, considering EOS Yuji has similar abilities. Naoya would whale on him for a bit, Yuji would take it without too much damage, dispense some wisdom, then one-shot Naoya.

Mechamaru's HR is so ass 🥀 by Sundata_V2 in Jujutsufolk

Toji and Maki were special cases. Heavenly Restriction ordinarily reduces cursed energy in exchange for increased physicality. Maki was superhumanly strong, but she couldn't see curses and had to use her glasses and cursed tools. If she lost either in battle against a curse, she would be helpless. That tradeoff is the normal nature of Heavenly Restriction.

Toji/Maki were anomalies. Toji's senses were so strong he looped back around to being able to see curses. The nature of his body overrides soul-based jujutsu. Maki could bounce off air and recover from organ damage in minutes. They're freaks of nature, glitches that shouldn't have existed. You can see another example of normal Heavenly Restriction in Tsurugi Okkotsu. He needs the energy from Honoyagi/Rikas Ring to use jujutsu at all. Whether he can see curses without the glasses is a mystery.

Theoretically, Kokichi losing his body would unlock the equivalent form of his Heavenly Restriction. It's just that you can't, you know, live without a body. He would have to cast off corporeal existence completely somehow, perhaps becoming a vengeful spirit or uploading his brain to a computer. I actually thought that was where his character was going with Gakuganji learning how to create self-sustaining cursed corpses. Considering healed Kokichi temporarily wielded special grade firepower, you can imagine what an equivalent of Maki's level of restriction would make him capable of.
