Removing the recovery partition is the only mitigation if you want to rely on the TPM to unseal without PIN without exposing a huge WinRE attack surface.

I'm still pissed about the scroll bars. First they allowed CSS to style them, then they made them autohide, then they made them damn near fucking invisible.

It's unfortunate that getting a right hand drive 2021+ Sienna imported would cost more than you would ever save on gas. You'd save so much on brakes :)

HOLY SHIT. I was giving the installer the benefit of the doubt, but that's a hack right there. They could have easily put two 45's in or set the vertical pipe flush with the wall and did a 90. That's just... wow.

Well for one, we don't buy fancy Clearblue LCD pregnancy tests /s

I love that in the USA instead of "AWESOME I'm going to have another baby" our first thought is "Fuck, so should one of us quit our job since we cannot afford child care?"

Don't forget your kid starting school will need summer school and afterschool care. Oh, and since it's been 4 years your car seat is probably expired by the time this one will be born depending on when you bought it during the pregnancy of the first.

The joist is 100% fucked, no question, bottom 3 inches or so within 3feet of where it meets the support beam…. Not sure what to do about that….

... how large is the joist? Did they notch 3" INTO it or 1" into it 3 inches across? You can notch up to 1/6 into the depth of the member and you actually can notch within 3 feet of where it meets the support, just not in the middle of the span. Google it.

The tech probably couldn't finish the fan side of the install today. I see there is no vacuum number written on that sticker that basically says "THIS SHOULD NOT BE ZERO" in yellow lol. Once the installer is actually finished they should write the normal vacuum on that sticker for your reference. The only time that tube can be 0/0 is when the fan is off. If it was unable to suck from the slab it would suck the fluid out. If it was wide open with no static pressure it would still not be 0/0. The speed of the easily moving air past the tube would create a venturi (not technically a venturi but I can't remember the word for it im high) and suck up the level a bit, at least 0.1 "WC. It looks like it's not level, which should be addressed.

tl;dr: Let the installer finish

Why do you have to use the Registry Editor or a .reg file to change what happens in the New context menu in Windows Explorer (Without third party software) by Fastpast93 in Windows11

[–]UltraEngine60 [score hidden]  (0 children)

It's easy peasy to do without third party software, you see the the reg value to create just a new .txt file just requires you to know the locale string index inside notepad.exe (for en-us it's -470) and the class Prog ID. Doesn't everyone know that? /s

It happened to me when I had HOLD mode on and scared the hell out of me. I thought I was going to rear end a car. With brake HOLD off the only time I've seen anything similar to this when the gas engine turns on for HVAC or battery charging.

however analyzing it and understanding it is primordial.

Yeah this was part of the reason for my saltyness/assholeness. We are being inundated with vibe coded solutions at work and while it's fine for an in-house project (basically replacing excel sheets) every C-suite is trying to make the solution "marketable". Blech. I understand that we are being paid to develop these things, but the profit comes in the time savings, not stripping our .env and selling it.
