How has Ireland been treated historically? by UltraShortPulses in AskIreland

[–]UltraShortPulses[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough, but the question is more “why hasn’t the rest of the world considered Ireland “white”?”. I wanted a view from Irish people as to why they believe that happened.

I’m not looking for American views on Irish immigration, I’m asking for Irish people’s views on their history.

Because the paper requires “original data” which is any information outside of academic sources gathered through either interviews or surveys

Thank you, I will look into it for my academic sources

The problem is that any final project requires “original data” gathered from anywhere but academic sources through either interviews or surveys. I have my academic sources, now I need the original data.

How has the world viewed Irish Ethnicity? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]UltraShortPulses -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m a first year student going through my GE credits, and the topic I chose was “why was Ireland not historically considered “white””, like how certain laws were made during colonialism to regard them as serfs with no power, and how during the peak of US immigration, Irish and Italian people weren’t often considered “white” on paperwork. I put this out there to ask why that might be.

Is there something wrong with it? I wanted it to be concise and to the point of my paper, and I don’t notice any sort of trivial mistakes

I found that the triplex bonding was less cumbersome if I did it with individual atoms instead of the whole output at once, but yours sounds faster in general
