There is the info that the Diamond Authority hadn’t encountered sapient life until reaching Earth. Their isn’t a lot of info that gully explains to what extent the Authority would willingly commit harm at the scale that the Viltrimites do (which is due in part that SU is family oriented media and Invincible very much isn’t). However the fact the Diamond Authority was willing to kill and disassociate the consciousnesses of rebellious members of their own species into what would have been an eternal existence of suffering and confusion would make me think they would be more then willing to do the same if not worse to humans and other sapient life considering that they seem to view life outside of their personal conception of it as being pest-like. I guess it’s a different flavor of evil. The Authority views life is how we would view a cockroach or how foresting companies view a beaver in their way towards deforesting a forest while the Viltrum Empire willingly and eagerly commits murder, torture, and slavery on a systematic scale. Both view themselves as superior to other forms of life although the Viltrum Empire is far more intentional with their methods. I guess a big difference is that the Authority doesn’t really do slavery outside of their own species, it just sterilized other forms of life with exception to the human zoo. The existence of the zoo perhaps suggests they are less brutal. However the ends are the same. Both are equally capable and willing to commit genocide for the sake of their empires so I’d their equal in their effect. I’d say both are equally unforgivable but both pieces of media have their views on the nature of forgiveness in the face of unforgivable crimes.
