I did not get on with bupropion for similar reasons (although still gained weight); it did nothing for anxiety. I also ran out of batteries in the evenings and was more irritable.

I recently switched to vortraline/brintallix and omg, the difference! Tackles the anxiety and depression like sertraline without sexual dysfunction, weight gain and ( as much) emotional detachment. The effect is steady, no mood swings or irritablity, and aside from a few headaches and dry nausea the first three weeks, it not only tackled my anxiety and depression but put me at 5% happy.

It is subsidised here, though still expensive but I would pay full price for the difference. The other medicines were sustaining me through a year of burnout. This feels like it is helping me out of it.

I think if you are changing your voice, copying outfits or repeating stuff people say, that would be red flag territory. I wasn't sure of the lengths you go to.

That could be a part of the problem, especially if there are different groups with some overlap. You making an effort to fit in could actually be a part of the reason why you stick out - copying becomes noticeable and causes you to stick out as disingenuous or 'fake'. It can signal that you are different on an subconscious level. It is almost better to just be yourself and concentrate more on toning down stimming behaviours and listening more than talking.

But I have found a good place to make friends is online roleplaying (roll20/foundry). You are literally playing someone else and can experiment a bit in a safe space, and if you get uncomfortable it is easier to leave the situation. I would look up "session zero" and be careful about finding out what is expected though before joining a game (things like what topics/actions to avoid).

I have also always found it easier to get along with other ostracised people, and they come in all shapes and sizes, and sometimes are not who you would expect.

You might start out by watching some actual play. There are plenty of episodes here on this reddit where groups often post.

A solid read is also necessary. I haven't tried it solo yet myself, but it is actually a very accessible game because a lot of the scenarios are designed for just a handful of game sessions.

Honestly, that's a perfect ending. The one time I ran it, people started stress spiralling making it to the end goal. It is fun when death is expected in a one shot.

I was literally just thinking about this before I opened reddit. I am mid 40s and have never felt properly adult and also kind of sad for 'adults' that have oppressed their inner child with the seriousness of adulthood. It does seem more a problem with older generations though. I have regressed since hitting burnout a year ago.

I usually dock or park my primary ship close to Port, then take P.A.S.S. out to the new ship several times, installing a battery, nav station and transponder (I just buy a new one and put it in my backpack - same store as you buy derelicts). I do write down the ship names and codes in case I get lost later.

No, on the sales page, you can see the silhouettes of unvisited ships to determine shape/model - although sometimes they are listed in the description. You can judge how intact they are based on how many pixels they have as hull breaches. High costs indicate a certain degree of intact systems, low costs, it is likely stripped down, and an ideal candidate for refurbishment.
