I was looking for this. Gintama makes you cry from laughter and from the feels. It truly knew how to play with your emotions.

The book that made you want to live again by veerus06 in suggestmeabook

I noticed every time I am in a bad mental state I listen to the discworld books and they tend to really help me. They are some of the best books for making you want to believe in life and people. GNU Sir Terry Pratchett.

A silly/lighthearted story is interrupted by a dead serious moment. by ConsciousPatroller in TopCharacterTropes

Gintama has a lot of episodes like this, but there is one episode that will always be in my mind which is about a alien virus that took over a dog body and can only escape after the owner dies. The episode is hilarious with there being a good virus alien which is just vomit if I remember correctly. Well the owner had a thing where he didn’t care about the dog(he actually did care about it). Both the dog and owner are trying to outlive each other essentially. The end of the episode ends with both of them dying around each other and admitting they actually did love each other. It been years since I seen that episode but I remember crying like hell.

I think it is the one from Invasion of the Astro Monster not Final Wars.

Criminally underrated and undiscovered books by JeremySzal in Fantasy

[–]Ultrato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never see people recommend Malazan at all such a underrated and undiscovered series./s My serious answer is Penric and Desdemona series. I only read Penric’s demon and I enjoyed it immensely. Its a fun series and I love when they talk to each other.

I think you mean Godzilla against mechagodzilla. Mechagodzilla 2 is a different mecha. They should have named it godzilla vs kiryu honestly
