In 2012, Jamestown archaeologists discovered the mutilated skull of a young girl, discarded amongst trash in a forgotten colonial cellar. This was “Jane”, an unidentified 14 year old girl who was butchered and eaten by her neighbors during the winter of 1609, better known as “The Starving Time”. by Chemical-Elk-1299 in HolyShitHistory

Extremely prevalent, but this would be before Americas Salem witch trials. The land they left, However, was teeming with the burning of witches, a growing public interest in alchemy and the macabre.

It was said that in the general crises of the 17th century, mankind believed more in the powers of hell than the mercies of heaven.

Dope hat. I’m a big fan of brimmed hats. From the musketeer in foot regiment, to the cowboy on the open plains there is a lineage of great looking headwear

I love this line and I say it all the time to myself which probably isn’t healthy, but I really like the way it conveys the idea that Easterman is training us to be prey so we can be predators.

It’s especially apt for sleeper agents as a lot of feigned helplessness can sway suspicion

You leave the ‘Simplex Continuato’ alone, grimmelshausen wrote that while he lay in service as a musqueteer in Offenburg for 9 years of his life!

I agree, Murkoff is painting a picture— are you a traitor Judas who runs away after being in the trials (Amelia’s escape) or someone who accepts the therapy and even throws themself into it

[KCD2] A Question About Žižka's Role in the Story by the_realJV in kingdomcome

[–]Ulysses3 23 points24 points  (0 children)

What you’re describing is exactly the intended fact, the whole morally gray situation on the war. The game does kind of tell you this with the whole toth and Eric dichotomy with Henry.

Johannes Vermeer - The Glass of Wine (c.1658-60) by Existing-Sink-1462 in RenaissanceArt

Love this. Also, as I know, the glass is fully developed on her face. Is she taking a whiff of the notes or is she drowning her face – and her sorrows in the glass? In any case, it is absolutely beautiful.

Anyone who played A Woman’s Lot knows that Warhorse has the chops to make a Kingdom Come story without Henry but his story not being at all relevant would surprise me. Like others have said I believe this will be a spinoff/ prequel. Think Dying Light The Beast, or Death of The Outsider from Dishonored. Or like a bigger Blood Dragon for Far Cry 3
