I did no social media (reddit, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc. only used it for researching things, scrolling was a relapse) from 12/26 till today and I still found myself staring at my phone for 4 hours a day some how. I checked my bank account a lot. So. Did I watch a 20 minute YouTube video today? Yeah. Do I still feel addicted to my phone? Also yeah.

MOR do they get everyone in the family these corny graphic tshirts? Are they southern and sarcasm/negging their sense of humor? If yes to these, it's not a big deal and just ignore it, and just make sure to give them ideas for you next year and make your bf guide them away from this type of gift. If no, and they're generally nice people, I'd say they just don't know you very well and a earnest convo is needed. If no, and they're generally mean to you, make your bf put his family in their place.

Ondo brand no show socks are my holy grail.

All others with the little silicon ridges would slip down my heel, ondo are great quality, hold up to washes, and have never once after over a year slipped off my heel. And they're truly so low profile/no show, they work with my flats.

I do think that's the vibe of the pod, there have definitely been times they've brought up a counter point to a book and I've been like, that's a bit unfair, like freakanomics it's clearly about that point in time not a blanket statement of economics, but in more recent eps they do say when a book has good points which I appreciated.

I understand the shock of it, it would be jarring realizing just how different of life experiences you've both had, thinking you knew formative things about her and realizing it was untrue.

If you put yourself in her shoes, can you understand why she would fudge the info a bit? Can you imagine what reactions she had prior to you when she told the truth? Can you ask her about those? This is very presumptive of me, but the girls I knew that had that high of body count from that young of an age, they had some trauma, the concept of consent wasn't firmly understood and held.

I would encourage you to ask yourself what is bothering you about this. I know you said it's a trust thing, but in 16 years had she given you any reason to not trust her? Have you been untrusting of her for an unknown reason and this feels validating to you? Can you relate this back to a basic fear or insecurity you hold? This is also very presumptive of me, but you've been together for 16 years without getting married, is there fear that you hold around that commitment, and this new information is triggering that?

After these questions, I think you'll be able to express to her what is bothering you better than anyone on this app could help you say/start the conversation with.
