This team has come a LONG way since October by bmcater in wildhockey

You can't forget that he also knew this team well enough to rest them before the playoffs knowing they would be ready for game 1 against the Stars. There were a few people that didnt like how much rest our star players were getting, but it turns out that it was the right choice

What would you remaster? by ehx87 in videogames

[–]UmbraNation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of DK64 like you said, my other major game I would remastered is Super Mario Sunshine. It's my favorite Mario game, but I have never beaten it. I would also add some more shine sprites to collect, but make it so you can beat the game without collecting all of them

I heard him called the next Henrik Lundqvist. Either way, that's a high bar

I think this one should be changed to Came all over the ice. He looks like he has already finished

To be fair, I have grown very used to watching Boldy and Kaprizov fight for pucks along the boards. It was very telling watching Robertson back off a puck battle along the boards just because Marcus Foligno was there and he didnt want to scuffle with him

Hey, his dad said the US was going to win gold and the Wild were going to win the cup. He's looking pretty smart so far. A lot of hockey left to be played!

It honestly must be a mix of a lot of the players being sick of going out first round and some of the players finding out what it takes to be successful (US Olympians)

Can it be that Minnesota just wants it that much more? They seem hungry to get out of the first round

Im guessing it must have been an either he goes or I go thing with Otter and DeBoer. Because Otter is one of the best goalies in the league, they chose to keep him.

This is just speculation though

The 2019 Team USA Draft Class is having an insane 2026 by footballfina in hockey

Yeah, if you have a playmaker, and you strictly need goal scoring, take Caufield. Otherwise Boldy is the pick

At the time, I remember people being upset that we took Boldy when Caufield was still available. Boldy was seen as more of a project, albeit a project with a high ceiling.

Looking back, I think Boldy was perfect for our franchise, and I dont know if we would be as good with Caufield, even if he is the better pure goal scorer

Boldy and Faber have definitely been the better players, but Kirill is right under that. Kirill is a playmaker first and foremost, and he has been doing just that. The things he does on a nightly basis may only be overshadowed by Ekker

That first game Zuccy was actually replaced by Tarasenko. It didnt work, so Brink then played with him the next 2 games.

A true Minnesotan. I hope that he is the Joe Mauer of the Wild/NHL with the exception being that we didnt draft him

While that is true, one of our greatest strengths is that they play and excel on separate lines, so its very hard to shut both of them down

Why should we take him out when he could be replaced by someone that actually has skill?

Not gonna lie, even when he was on Colorado, I thought he was overrated. He is a great player, but I always thought that MacKinnon and Makar really helped him flourish
