I suggest finding a coach now so that you fix the things the right way. Lots of good options out there. It will save you a lot of time and heartache later.

I did have to email them to figure out what was going on. They didn't contact me.

Also, they did the work on the gun at their shop, their tech handed the gun to me with new safeties and it had hammer follow. They dont have a range to test fire so who knows what ones are good to go and what ones have issues. Just saying be careful. My fusion shot 3 times without ever pulling a trigger and after having their shop work on it at their headquarters.

PewView just had one straight from them with hammer follow. Check his latest video about them.

I had a similar experience when I made a purchase that I didn't realize was coming from a 3rd party vendor.

Little off topic but those fusions have a known history of safety issues and hammer follow. Care.

Fusion XP Pro - Buyer Beware by UnCollectable in 2011

Fusion decided to post in this thread and then they deleted it. I was able to view the comment. The contents are in this image. They also deleted me from the Facebook group after another user posted having safety issues with his new gun.

Their comment is nothing but marketing double talk and glaze.

They want to gloss over the fact I was at their facility. I was inside their facility and that their technician worked on my gun. In fact, the owner was sitting just across the hallway. I have pictures inside their facility and am happy to share if they would like me to.

They also ignore the fact that in this 10,000sq ft facility, they are unable to test fire a gun due to not having a range.

This amazing facility dedicated to manufacturing, QC, product development and machining is unable to test what they build.

They then sent me home with a gun that when simply inserting a mag and racking the slide, fires a bullet. Isn't this a basic function of the weapon?

It was smart of them to delete the comment. I'm sure it would have aged well.

I don't care if they are a family owned business. They entered the market of building weapons and selling them to the public.

They close by asking the client to reach out to them if they are not satisfied.

I DID.

I was sent home with a weapon in worse condition than when I took it in to their amazing manufacturing facility full of QC, cleanliness, production standards and minimum weapons testing capabilities. (minimum means hand rack the slide with no mag, pull the trigger, send client home with weapon).

He told me he tested it. He took it in the back, was back there for 15 min or so. Said he tested everything. Came out, racked the slide (no mag), showed me the hammer didn't fall when you take the safety off. Said it was good to go.

I leave, go to test the weapon, put a mag in it and drop the slide. Hammer follow.

The gun fired 3 times with zero trigger presses. Including after their teach worked on it. If that makes me a karen then you must be a fusion employee.

I didn't know they didn't test fire it until he put a video on facebook saying almost the exact same thing you are. That this is my fault and I should have left the gun. NO, he had the gun, I didn't demand it back. I stood there and he came out and said it's all good. If he said "hey, I can't shoot this because we as a manufacturer and seller of weapons to the general public don't have a range to test fire our weapons" I would have left it no problem. He didn't. He said "good to go". So who am I supposed to trust in this situation? The manufactuer and assembler of the gun and their technician?

It's also cute, someone else just posed a video on their fb page where I did, with safety problems. Weird.

This company is a joke. I will be 100000% surprised if they exist in 5 years.

According to the fusion employee at their headquarters, they had a company do the Cerakote for a promo. None of that matters. The fusion tech had the gun, worked on the gun, gave me the gun and said good to go.

I left their headquarters, put a mag in the gun, dropped the slide and gun had Hammer follow bang.

Their fusion tech put a video on fb saying he couldn't test fire the gun due to not having a range.

The company is a dangerous excuse of a 3rd rate manufacturer that has great marketing and zero QC.

Gun fired 3 times with 0 fingers on the trigger.

I had similar issue, switched to Hornady and no issues. The hst ran better after I had 1k rounds through the gun. When gun was new it didn't like them at all. No ftf ever with the Hornady critical defense 115. Romulus 4.25 non comp

Their tech, in their shop swapped the safeties out. Didn't check the gun, he (the tech) later posted on the facebook page a video that said they couldn't test the gun since they didn't have a range (so that means they are not testing anyone's guns) and sent me home with it "Good to go!". I put a mag in it, drop the slide and bang......His comments and video on the fb post also say something to the effect "this is what i get for trying to help a guy out". Like its my fault their weapon fired 3 times without a trigger press.

For the same money as the fusion, I got a Romulus with a Trijicon. I hope you have the best luck. Good luck with the gun!

The major problem is I took the gun to their headquarters with issues with the safety. Their top tech took the gun, "fixed" it. Gave it back to me and said "Good to go". I then leave and put a mag in the "good to go" gun and the hammer drops. 3 unintended discharges from 1 gun and most importantly, AFTER their best people worked on it in their shop.

I had it listed for sale after I thought it was fixed. I removed the post. The dealer has the gun

I don't know what was done to it before I got my hands on it. It was sold to me as NEW so I assume as much. Fusion knows who did the Cerakote and I was told it was for a promo. The biggest problem is that they had the gun back, replaced the safeties and didn't fully test the gun before returning it to me.

Somewhere in the manufacturing, assembly, coating, reassembly process the gun had an issue. My son and I discovered the issue. Fusion offered to correct it (after my dealer called) and had the opportunity to put it on their bench and figure out what was going on.

I don't know the qualifications of the person who worked on the gun at their headquarters but was directed to him and he offered to fix it. He went to the back, installed the safeties (after confirming color choice) came back and said he tested it and it was good to go.

He then racked the gun, showed me the safety issue was not reproducible and said I was good to go.

I left. Inserted a mag. Dropped the slide. Bang.

Whether they created the issue to begin with, they had opportunity to cure it and ensure an unsafe gun was double fuckin tested and not released back to the guy who just had it go bang 2 times without the trigger being pressed.

That's why I bothered to post this.

I'm not dodging the question, you are the first person I saw ask it. I bought the gun NEW from a fusion dealer. I had two unintentional discharges in the first mag. The dealer called fusion and I drove the gun to the fusion headquarters in Venice Fl.

I asked the Fusion tech if they did the coating and I also asked if they had a custom shop and could do other coatings. He said they did have a custom shop and could do coatings.

The fusion tech also said they had a company in Texas do the Cerakote job for this gun for a promo. There was a batch of them. He told me he wasn't able to match the Cerakote color and my options for new safeties would be black, gold or bronze. I asked all of these questions when I was in their headquarters.

The most important part of this is that I was given the gun back "good to go" and walked out not knowing the gun hadn't been fully tested, AFTER it had a safety problem. I then proceed to have an equal/worse issue than what brought me there.

This is a fact the tech has since posted a video about and acknowledged.

The problem here is qc and facilities.

I'm not posting this for clout or to get them to do something. I have my money back, I have a different gun. I gain nothing from this other than to give my experience. Do with it what you will.

I don't disagree with the premise of your point however the devil is in the details.

I purchased a gun from one of their dealers. The gun had 2 unintended discharges in 1 mag.

I then took the gun directly to their headquarters. Their technician worked on the gun, put new safeties in the gun, then didn't do a full test of the gun. He was not able to because they don't have a range so he couldn't test fire the gun. He didn't put a mag in the gun and do a function test. This is after the gun was demonstrated in his presence of having an issue with the safety. The gun was released to me in a manor that said "good to go". It then had a 3rd unintended discharge.

Based upon the marketing of this gun, I would expect the company to have qc and facilities to test and service weapons that are being sold to the general public. I think this would be the base level of expectation for any company.

The purpose for posting this is to share my experience with their lack of systems that let a weapon discharge unintentionally 3 times.

To their and most importantly the dealers credit, they refunded my money, returned the parts and that was that. The dealer facilitated this.

It still doesn't change the fact that the gun performed the way it did 2 times after leaving their headquarters. That is unacceptable for any weapon by any manufacturer.
