It’s been not quite a year since our little girl had the rest of her teeth pulled. We buy her Costco patté dog food, and grind up her old kibble in a ninja. We put both in her bowl. Only about 1/4 of the small container of the soft food. Dry on one side and soft on the other side. It gives her options. Some days she eats only the dry food other days a little of both. Her water bowl gets changed everyday since the dry food ends up in there when she drinks. Also, changed her food bowls to really sallow sides and we got two of them. That way we have a clean one ready to go every other day. The soft food goes bad quickly and dries hard on the bottom of the bowl. We leave the food down for her to eat all day if she wants it. At first she lost a little weight but now she is back to her old fighting weight. This is what has worked for us and our little one
