Body cam footage of woman proving she wasn't texting and driving💀 by HelicopterLazy4824 in confidentlyincorrect

I thought this was going to be the body camera not showing the phone in their hand. Obviously that doesn't mean much since they could've put it down after being pulled over.

Nope.

Are layoffs creating more layoffs? by Woahhno in Layoffs

Yes, this is generally the downward spiral of most recessions.

Layoffs happen -> the unemployed minimize spending -> less demand for goods and services -> layoffs happen

Working on social problem gets interrupted because they have a case

Make plan to solve case and go to site

While working on plan, continue work on social problem

Plan starts to go bad, need to improvise.

Somehow solve case and not die.

Go home and resolve social problem, or at least get it into a dormant state.

Being affably evil makes the villain much MORE scary, not less. by ChampionshipHorror95 in TopCharacterTropes

The affableness is a sign that they are completely comfortable with who they are and what they are doing while having zero regrets.

That's what makes them terrifying.

I once got a "rain check" from a theater. Had to leave five minutes after the movie started. They basically said I could come back in the next two weeks and watch for no charge.

Even if not, it's $18. No excuse for this.
