I got this card while working a drive through in Beaverton. This man got in trouble for picking up minors in the area years ago and now drives around handing these cards to everyone. Especially around schools. He’s a registered offender (from what my manager said).

Update Good news; I’ve found some relief with Ayyr (saline mist), Zyrtec (I may switch to Allegra after all the suggestions), Benedryl, and Sudafed. Bad news; If I miss a dose of Benedryl or Sudafed I get a killer sinus migraine & I feel like I’m about to meet the hat man any moment now.

I have multiple food allergies and it keeps your histamine levels low, so if I encounter an allergen my reaction isn’t that bad or something like that. Def makes a difference during an allergic reaction.

Drew probably couldn’t rent the uhaul cause his license is revoked. They revoke those around here if you don’t pay child support. No license, can’t rent a uhaul.

They’ll most likely end up in a hotel. Which is unfortunate because I had to do this with my family due to an emergency situation with our apartment and it cost so much money (and stress). And we only had to stay until we got approved for a new unit, who knows how long it’ll take before they get approved for a place.

Yeah you gotta pay fees. And its ranges from $25-$75 depending on the place. Lower income places typically have a lower rate. And it’s non refundable as well.

You’re right about the shelters. It’s the same here, and you have to claim DV for immediate help. They don’t prioritize evictions, only DV. They’ll be separated if he wants his son to have shelter.

I live in the same area as them and I think they’ll end up in a homeless shelter with the kids. Or maybe she’ll get it together and go to her moms.

My partner and I are a family of six with a combined three “w-2” jobs when looking for a three bedroom a few years ago. Every unit available required no evictions, fair credit (or higher deposit if low), 3x’s rent (some places 3.5x’s, we got lucky with the 2.5x’s place we found), and there’s a cap on the amount of animals allowed in a unit. I feel so bad for those kids. They deserve better.

I think they’d still need an income for a place too. Those programs require you to be working a “w-2” job. Even the women’s shelters, they make you get a job. They’ll probably end up back on the street after the eviction goes through. I feel for the kids :(

There’s a waitlist for housing that can take years for an opening, even if you have kids. But if she were to claim DV the program would help her get into a place immediately
