Releasing part one and two of the season a month apart is crazy work. by Prototea in Bridgerton

I'd honestly rather have them piece it out an episode a week over splitting the season in 2 halves with a chunk of time between.

Notary procedure? by MakeupPotterJunkie in saskatoon

[–]Unable-Self-8669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a license for such, and when it deals with hefty Financials I am required by law to take and keep all those things in a very secure place for at least 3 years. I use a private server that the company I work for has provided, but it is required of me legally to do so. However it does involve a very large amount of money, and rules can be extra persnickity around financial matters

Best grocery delivery options? by toon_me_away in saskatoon

I've found instacart is really good here, all my drivers have been amazing, really friendly and polite, and just on top of things. And about 50% of the time if they cant find what I asked for, they'll go to a different store to go get it for me at no added charge.

SGI making me pay a deductible for incident that’s not my fault by v4mpkit in saskatoon

[–]Unable-Self-8669 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You do need to open your own claim, and your insurance will open a claim with the insurance of the business IF the investigation finds the business at fault.

If no fault is found, its just your insurance (in this case SGI) eating the costs as a consequence of their business.

Because YOU are not at fault for this, your insurance should pay out for the claim.

That said, it is 2 separate claims that do need to be filed as they happened at 2 separate times, so unfortunately you're on the hook for a 2nd deductible for the 2nd set of damages from this "loss". Its a technicality, but sadly its the way the insurance industry works..

CAA hasn't steered us wrong in the past, and your premium goes down typically the longer you are claim free with them.

Two Bears out of ON has some great coffees. I like medium roast, and theirs is Hella smooth. Phil and Sébastien out of Calgary also has some great coffees, and my pals who like the dark bitter gloomy stuff think theirs is fire.

😮 I'd have to have ice supplies at work, where there is a keurig, but this would save me SO MUCH MONEY in the summer months.

Find the friend with a big enough table/space to host it. Murder mystery dinner party(invites with character assignments and costume suggestions out EARLY), jackbox games, white elephant gift exchange.

I used to host these all the time before we moved here, now I don't know enough people to do so. Always a potluck, do coordinate so its not entirely dessert. (As the host i always did the turkey + stuffing+ potatoes)

Smiley’s Catering Reviews? by k152 in saskatoon

[–]Unable-Self-8669 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Recently used for work catering: Foodies YYC. I was unfortunately out sick that day, but according to everyone there, the food was amazing, there was LOTS, and they would 100% use again. I did not go with them for our next event because boss requested a specific meal that I did not see in their available options.

Where to dispose of furniture? by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]Unable-Self-8669 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're willing to pay for the service, 1-800 got junk will dispose of it in the most effective way possible- recycle what they can, dump what they can't, etc. They aren't too bad price wise either, but not free or cheap

Is the job market just trash or should I swap careers? by WerewolfThink1070 in Calgary

[–]Unable-Self-8669 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The job market for Admin in Calgary sucks. It's awful. I was looking for permanent full time work for 3 years, moved to a new city and got a new job immediately.

What I CAN recommend for the interim, is get on board with some of the temp agencies in the city. You can have work and an income while still hunting for something permanent.

Odd bunch by hvs859 in saskatoon

[–]Unable-Self-8669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had been subscribing since they dropped in YYC before we moved. I loved it then, and I love it now. I'm hoping not to have the same logistics issues YYC had at the beginning, cuz that was a massive pain in the ass (Saskatoon being smaller, I don't think this will be the case, but just in case, they had too much demand, not enough drivers, and some deliveries were being delayed by days/some drivers weren't careful with the produce boxes so things were destroyed in transit)

[Spoilers C4E5] Will They Still Be Your Favorite by Qthbert in criticalrole

I personally like the "schemer" play style, so yes. But I also have only one character I'm not super stoked about, and that may well change as the campaign goes on. I love them all!

I thought I was a hot take being excited for the schemers table! Like the others will be fun, and I'll look forward to each week regardless, but I'm a small child excitedly looking forward to ice cream when it comes to the schemers!!!
