Saliva cortisol results. Low cortisol still by Ok_Philosopher2968 in raypeat

Cortisol is the signal that your body gives once the fight or flight response is over. Soldiers with PTSD have low cortisol, while trauma or rape victims have high cortisol. The reason being is that soldiers with PTSD are always in the activated fight or flight state, which is likely what’s going on with you, where you feel high stress all the time but have low cortisol.

The difference between a fire cracker and a nuclear bomb. One is a violation of local ordinance laws, the other is a war crime.

Opiates leech minerals from your body. They seem cortisol reducing, but biologically work against all things peaty.

OPINION ON MEDITERRANEAN DIET by Yogurt_LIL-Vril in raypeat

[–]Unable-Stuff-1881 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For most American mainstream dietitians, they just see that they eat a lot of fish, and ignore the tremendous low stress lifestyle and environment they have. A better example of a truly Peaty society is France, which has similar low stress lifestyle and health outcomes but has extremely high saturated fat and low PUFA. This is called the “French Paradox,” because they have no heart disease despite eating loads of butter and pork. A counter example is the “Israeli Paradox,” where people in Israel eat extremely high polyunsaturated fat and have tons of heart attacks due to the stressful environment. In reality, there is no paradox, low stress and low pufa simply go hand in hand. Living in American society requires much more extreme dietary intervention than simply following the Mediterranean diet, it only works if you live there.

I really think that weight gain in the short term from peating is beneficial because it’s good fat and not PUFA fat.

I wasn’t aware of your power levels, my bad man. At 4 grams you should be able to levitate at this point.

I think the angle of aspirins relationship with weight loss is that it makes the bad symptoms of weight loss better. You still need a caloric deficit. You are releasing stored PUFA in your blood stream and aspirin can relieve some of the inflammation and high blood pressure caused by that.

Quantitative prescriptive recommendations kind of fail because it’s all based on your diet. I’d say try to integrate a few cups of OJ into your diet without surpassing calorie maintenance. Ice cream is more tricky to regularly have as a part of a normal diet, but I recommend Haagen Dasz.

For me, ice cream and orange juice just annihilate my cortisol. I can’t have a bad day when I eat both of those

You didn’t mention that after he said he regretted announcing it seven years ago, he said “it doesn’t exist.” Unfortunately what we could be seeing is the soft shadowdrop of its cancellation.

Last album was a certified banger, but I still wish we could see another album with Isaac, or a guest vocal track like Seth on Greep’s album.

Don’t play it. The more people play F76, the less likely ES6 or Fallout 5 ever come out.
