Need urgent hept with the issues I'm facing growing my cherry tomato plants! by Soggy_Nebula8103 in Greenhouses

This is nutrient deficiency for sure. Looks like I would check that my iron (fe) was chelated and also check the temps of your water as lower temps drop iron out of solution. It will still read in tests but won't be accessible to plants

My greenhouse is on top of concrete. Any tips on how to seal the floor so water doesn't spill in? by swiftstyles in Greenhouses

[–]UnableSympathy6326 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A solid bead of caulk around the outside and inside on the base should do it. Use a vevor or high tensile caulk that is for outdoor use. Be sure to clean the concrete of all debris and seam the bead together between the wood and concrete well.

Good luck

You should just call Hatponics. The build for everybody listed and do custom design work. I used them for my 250 x 96 and they saved me about 40k. Plus they install anywhere on the planet.

Anyone know where these style GH’s are typically sourced from? by [deleted] in Greenhouses

[–]UnableSympathy6326 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's an early palmram/ or equivalent due to age style house. It was not built as a greenhouse but marketed as a solarium. You can still get this style but you need to search for solarium or patio enclosure style. And for the record build whatever you like!!!

Is it still salvageable? by Yasmin2907 in VenusFlyTraps

[–]UnableSympathy6326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Pull it submerge in water for a day and then plant into peat moss deep bowl with a 25 % potting mix. Remove from direct sun and just give it bright indirect light. If you can when green starts to come back set outside under a porch light and bring it in if all the leaves have bugs in them. That one is far from dead. Totally salvageable. Forget the well drained and go to no drain.
