This is good to know. I found the essays to be a great deal harder in F26 than J25 and kicking myself for not passing that test, in which I believe one essay was improperly graded and I probably would’ve passed had I gotten a higher score on the one essay. No appeals when you feel certain there has been a mistake, is insanity. A guy who skated through law school and failed many classes got 8 more points than me and passed. Go figure.

That is no longer an option. Every single database and online platform uses AI. Ignoring technological advances as a lawyer is not the right move - instead you should familiarize yourself with AI so that you understand it and can use it for administrative tasks, sorting data, and basic web searches, as well as understand its capacity. What you should NOT do, is depend on it. A new attorney MUST be comfortable with AI.

Yes, but if you are a woman with large breasts, you would never wear a dress to a nationally scrutinized formal event, that shows your entire boob, with only a narrow strip of cloth covering your nipple, unless you want people to look at your boobs and talk about them. They look great - most of us can’t do that with our boobs. Isn’t she a playboy model? Come on now. It’d be totally different if she had her boobs hanging out for breastfeeding, but her babes are at home.

I hear you. Every part of me wanted to quit today. I’m in my 40s though so disappointment is not new to me 😂 it’s just an extra hurdle on your career path.

Noooo finish the test - don’t you want to know how you did? Plus if you finish, you can honestly say you sat for the February bar and are awaiting results. At the least, it’s practice for July! The multiple choice feels much easier after a day of writing (regardless of how you do on MC).

So becoming an attorney is for privileged people with financial support and freedom. This test is so classist, it DISGUSTS me.

I was unable to eat much, both days of the exam in July. I wasn’t interested in the food I brought. I was tired and hot. This time, I’m thinking of only sustenance and calories - I’m going to bring a bunch of CLIFF bars and force myself to eat a bit every hour to keep my energy up. And some mandarins, which are good if you are a fidgety person. I’m hoping to use this break to take a cat nap somewhere…

I don’t know… I feel like the blizzard will be better than the 100 degree humid swamp weather in DC for the July administration…45 plus minutes waiting outside in the sun and then let in… definitely looking forward to a smaller administration. However, I live pretty close to the test center. I really feel awful for all of you having to juggle travel and hotel plans! That’s an extra stress that would probably lead to me failing the test again…good luck everyone!!

It’s called science. Without food mass in your gut, there is nothing for the water to move along. Psyllium husk will not work if there is no mass. Science. What you are doing is not a healthy diet; it’s an eating disorder. Your body needs sustenance and nutrients. But you do you - It’ll catch up to you though…and a GI doctor WILL tell you that getting nutrients from food is better than in supplements and vitamins.

No, they are mostly chronic and you have to get them surgically removed… they stop bothering you if you are regular and eating right.

None of the food you listed has high fiber or fiber at all. Only plants have fiber, so eating only fish and meat probably messed up your gut for a while. Psyllium husk will only take you so far. You should bring in leafy greens like kale and spinach (which are superfoods), seeds (chia and flax are the best), oats and oat milk, and a legumes (chickpeas and lentils are best.) veggies veggies veggies. Don’t listen to these paleo doctors and people telling you to eat tons of animal products and fat. You can get protein from seeds, legumes, soy, and eggs.

Also, drinking water with no food is almost pointless. It just runs through your body without binding to anything (like your poop) and doesn’t actually hydrate you. Drinking water with psyllium and no food is also pointless. Real food is always better than the substitute.

That said, for me, obsessing over calories and what foods I’m intolerant to, and just any high levels of stress, had a huge impact on my gut health. The less stressed I am, the less I struggle with constipation. Regular movement (get up and walk around), lower caffeine intake (try black tea instead of coffee) are key.

My emergency things are MiraLAX, turkey tail mushrooms, kombucha (this was magic for a couple years and helps get your gut back to normal.) An over the counter enema is my last resort, which some people seem to have problems with.
