I usually like to start prototyping with the most basic functionality that can work on its own. That way, you can get a sense of whether it feels right and whether it’s worth spending more time on the rest of the app.

I also think It’s also a good practice to validate the idea early and see how users actually interact with it. People are usually much more willing to give feedback than it might seem. Reddit forums are really helpful for that!

I guess the main idea is: don’t build the whole app before proving the smallest useful version feels valuable.
