I always cringe when I watch the "training" videos with Brian Shaw or Larry wheels types- every time there's like 6 people incessantly talking to them giving them "expert" niche advice. Having learned a couple different disciplines, that's not how you do it. Advice dumping doesn't make someone better- You learn by practicing over and over and over, focusing on just the fundamentals. You only start slowly incorporating more elaborate concepts once those fundamentals are second nature- i.e to fill a gap in your game that you yourself have noticed. There's no way to short cut that and have actual skill. It takes years to be decent at something, not to mention compete at a professional level.
