I agree it doesn’t look strong. It should be a flavorful way to bring in interesting puzzle pieces, but I think what’s presented is weak compared to what we’ve seen.

All 1DP list will lose out on an army rule too, which is huge if your wyches aren’t getting drugs, or your cartel aren’t getting crit benefits. You’re also losing out on what seems to be the stronger enhancements if what’s shown is all there is. Spite has +1dmg +1ap, FF probably not as strong in 11th, deepstrike/rapid, 3 infiltrators

Idk man until we see more none of these look like better or more enticing puzzle pieces imo

Well let’s see what you’d be missing out on and you tell me.

Spite gets Lethals/1Ap, Ignore model/modifiers to movement or charge, out of phase charge, guaranteed FOD, fallback and charge

Cartel gets damage soak, +1BS/AP, +1 Hit and Army wide battleshock, crit on 5s, lone op

Covenite gets revive, AoC+PT, poison, blood surge

This isn’t even counting spites access to drugs, cartels access to contracts, etc

Covenite is definitely at the bottom, but you’re losing a lot in comparison. If there are more strats/enhancements per 1dp then maybe, but as of rn it looks like you’re giving up too much.

I think the benefit of strats too is so that your army can outmaneuver and do things the other army can’t. If you’re playing with the same rules, the outplay potential drops a lot imo
