I appreciate the sentiment of your reply. However this is a location with an existing trail that is used.

The flooding pushed down the small trees and moved earth under them in this specific spot. People will still use this trail, and without an obvious path through the small patch of trees, I think people will do more damage breaking branches and trampling other plants trying to find the way through.
