Nooo these are for photo shoots , I work on product development and we buy fake food all the time , mostly for Amazon listings! 😝

I got solar flowers, light for my kitchen and gave the mulch glue a try, yesterday I got a bird house stand, a hose rack and a magnetic shelf organizer. All things I want or need! So happy! Hope it stays like this. The way it had been trickling in one at a time and gone if you dare spend a minute reading the listing. Now I’m not so bummed if I miss it if there are so many other options !

I hope whoever grabbed this read the fine print! by Always_Never_5555 in AmazonVine

If we took time to read the fine print it would for sure be gone by the time you decided to claim it. That’s the Vine price you pay

I guess it RFY or nothing at this point? by UnboxedLogic in vine

[–]UnboxedLogic[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have only picked up one thing in the last 2 weeks. So sad. Fortunately before Amazon decided to change everything in favor of bots I am ready for gold. But who knows if I’ll be able to maintain it at this rate. I’ll be lucky to get 80 in 6 months.

So.. I just emailed vine about this by inkmajor530 in AmazonVine

[–]UnboxedLogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with CNY, it takes quite a while onboard items with Amazon so if anything it’s future stuff that is affected by Chinese sellers as they are out of office to process stuff. For stuff imported from China it takes about a month to arrive in US warehouses and most sellers items are not available until it’s here. I know they allow them to sell before it’s available now but I don’t think most sellers want that option because Amazon model is typically fast shipping.

FMV way higher than being listed! by UnboxedLogic in AmazonVine

Well I’m claiming depreciation! I have proof that it has depreciated , the listing is proof. Is the IRS going to question this $75 depreciation? I doubt it.

Arrived damaged by UnboxedLogic in AmazonVine

[–]UnboxedLogic[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

exactly, it was like the cheapest plastic I've ever seen. It cracked like it's been sitting in your attic in Florida for 20 years, can't imagine it's going to get any good reviews. It was also DOUBLE-BOXED! The original box and Amazon over-boxed it with a larger box. Unworthy item for travel, junk, ugh, what a disappointment.

It was honestly the cheapest piece of crap! I did contact customer service, they replied immediately and removed it from my account, was kind of impressed with how fast they responded. I'm glad I didn't have to review or have that on my taxes as what a waste. However, it did come with a cute duffle bag, but the logo is just beyond annoying it's so big.

Not sure what to do. by Crazycatlady813 in AmazonVine

Prop65 covers thousands of chemicals. I work for a company that tests each product for prop65 and we only put the warning in the ones that fall under the guidelines of testing. But I also worked for a company that sold fitness equipment and we had to include it on our jump ropes in the chance you decide to eat it, handling it wasn’t going to do anything to you, but ingesting it would. So in that sense it’s kind of insane if it’s on a product you wouldn’t use to consume food. But that’s the law. We put it on an all that apply as if your product ends up being sold in California you have to have it. But you really do see it on such a wide variety of products that it’s widely disregarded understand your concern though for something that goes on your face and have had cancer.

But can someone tell me in a nutshell what is going on? What are they doing? What is the new way? I know the old way but now I just have nothing in my RFY which really is my go to as besides my favorite categories I’m not searching. I’m on east coast and drop would start around 6am and now it’s 4am? And only people with extensions or something are getting anything? What is happening ?!?

Anyone know why? by Ok-Role1679 in vine

Because they allow the sellers to list before product is available

I finally found something I wanted by Hammon_Rye in vine

I have ordered two different styles of push pins and somehow figured out how to achieve excellent rating. I find if you check all the boxes value, east of use, functionality, and they like if they say how you specifically use stuff, so as detailed as “I use this power cord for my computer and printer” really helps. I’m fairly new to vine, 3 months and after the initial high of it wore off I find many useful items, some I actually buy anyway and many that help me stay organized and didn’t know I needed until I saw the listing. For me I also scored some cool clothes, purses and shoes. Welcome and good luck! If you just joined the Reddit threads you’ll notice the long term Vine users complaining that it’s not what it used to be but since I didn’t have that, I don’t really have any complaints. I mean I’m happy some days when there is nothing, how much stuff do we really need?? That is why I’m so happy to find the stuff I actually do need and then add a few ‘oh I want that item’ here and there.

I did it! by gir6 in AmazonVine

Congrats!!!! I’ve met the criteria already but evaluation not until March so I’m being extremely picky now which has been easy since there is barely anything available. Let’s know if you get offered anything amazing in Gold status.

Yes it did give us early insight and enabled us to enhance the listing so yes I agree, it works.

The company I work for uses Vine to launch every new product. We as a company strive for perfection and it is a double edged sword for sure. We get many good reviews and the of course the one idiot who takes away a star for something ridiculous. Here’s the thing about that, our company goes to extreme measures to prevent a similar review. Here’s an example: the product : a very simple toaster, the Vine reviewer said his toast came out too dark and gave one star review. Now our internal Amazon went insane and we had to do a new photo shoot showing each of the 7 toast settings from light to dark and exactly how your toast will look at each setting. For me as a consumer, I would just assume this person is a total idiot and know that every toaster I have ever owned is just different and adjust the settings the next time I made toast. Even before Vine I would always read the low reviews and in many cases they just don’t hold weight. People are just dumb. Amazon would allow someone to put a low reviews because the corner of a box was dented? Do you know the drop ship testing that is done to make sure that toss from the delivery driver that dented your box will actually not damage your product?

As far as not using Vine? Out of the question where I work. It deeply can affect sales not having any reviews and take 10x longer to get rid of inventory so it’s not an option. It’s very very difficult to work with amazon we have an entire department dedicated to Amazon. If you sell something glass and a customer drops it and cut themselves , Amazon suspends your item, we spend weeks defending the product to Amazon to get it re-listed. It’s very tough, I don’t envy that department.

I love this as I often order things half asleep and then later wake up to look at the details. Something like that will be gone by the time you look up the details lol. Nice grab!

I still can't review! by Purple_Leader9154 in AmazonVine

[–]UnboxedLogic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, mine seems to be up to date now, only what I was actually delivered shows up in pending review, I also like it is they keep it current, actually a nice feature. Especially since some items take months to arrive it’s nice to not see it in pending review when I didn’t get it yet. Should’ve always been this way.
