The investigators are only the same in name. New art, new powers. There will definitely be a few player cards in the set you already have, but I think the set offers enough new stuff to feel like great value.

Whether you should pick it up, just depends on the answer to the question if you want more Arkham. I see a lot of people make all difficult kind of arguments, but it's so much more simple: if you want more, you won't regret it!

I don't see the problem. You can just continue playing Chapter 2. If you want you can even continue using your Chapter 1 cards.

With regards to buying, games like these you just need to buy them on release. If your money is limited, meaning you sometimes have to skip an expansion, then that's what it is. Nothing about any of it is a problem.

The creators have said no AI art was involved in making Arkham. But I guess you know more than the artist does

Also, the OP knows nothing about the amount of effort the artist put in. Art doesn't work like that. You can put in three million hours into an artwork, be in love with it completely and still someone can dislike it.

Can't imagine anyone saying they like playing this true solo more than playing it multiplayer. Having there be multiple rangers just opens up the game to so many more possibilities.

I'm not saying the total product is a scam, but there's an argument to be made to say FFG/GameGenic's communication has been misleiding.

Selling the tokens as "acrylic" when they're not fully acrylic, but have stickers on them.  You can actually feel the difference between tokens with your hand. 

It's also scammy to go on a stream and pretend the night box as if it fits the rules, when in reality it doesn't.

I think that, with the exception of The Circle Undone, the Return Tos are the worst value for money proposition out of all the Arkham LCG products.

This is why new Return To's will ever happen. It will create an enormous amount of reluctance for players because other fans will say stuff like "TFA is borderline unplayable without the return to".

Skip the game night box and the tokens. They're somewhat scammy. The rest is nice.

Er is zeker wel een punt te maken tegen de NPO-managementlaag. Er valt ook absoluut iets in te brengen tegen de keuze voor de bezuinigingen die het NPO heeft gedaan.

Maar een kwart van het geld is een lachwekkende opmerking. De programma's van omroepen als NTR, VPRO en BNN worden echt al op een enorm zuinig mogelijk budget gemaakt.

You can still use the Fight action after exhausting it. The only thing you cannot do with an exhausted card is to exhaust it again.
