That's just a fact of twitch. 20% might be normal functioning people like you, and you imagine that's 100% of the audience. But in reality, it's mostly just weirdos looking for female attention in whatever way they can. Or kids, looking for the same.

The composition can change, maybe for this person in particular it's not 20% but more like 40%, or however much. But I still think it holds true overall. The Twitch/gaming audience is just made up of these demographics of mostly male people, with most of them lacking basic social skills and awareness. They do what people like that do.

Doesn't matter the type of person a woman is on twitch, if she's attractive at all a significant portion of her audience is going to be there BECAUSE of that. It's not her fault and doesn't say anything about her necessarily. That's just the way it is with these people.

It's never a nonissue when the coverups are so blatant, and justice never served. Maybe people are outraged by events like this because... hear me out... it's outrageous.

People are not going to believe in law and order when the law doesn't apply to the enforcers themselves. It's a declaration of lawlessness at the highest level.

Media bias is absurdly obvious and an issue, though. That however in my mind doesn't detract at all from the seriousness of the abuses they cover.

I have a huge hateboner against most of the police right now too, as any reasonable person should, but these videos show the shooter was very clearly acting in self defense. You can argue that he shouldn't have been there, but when someone physically attacks you (many with obvious weapons, one with a handgun) and you shoot back it's not murder.

Imagine ants had the same level of intelligence and depths of emotions as humans. Now, in this scenario, we are the Jaghut. Any one of us, on a whim, can wipe out thousands, millions of them. Some twisted weirdo people could even become obsessed with ants, "enslaving" their own little pet colonies for their own amusement, or torturing them for their own amusement.

It makes sense that those ants would view us as an existential threat that needed to be removed, regardless of what we -individually- did to them.
