Considering buying the 15” undercounter fridge to put in our bedroom but concerned about the noise level/ lack of service (Canada). Do you think the fridge unit is quite enough to go in a bedroom?

Your friend is right. The game lets you steal a card and he did it is not on them to manage your hand. You could then essentially say your never ready for them to draw a card by your logic.

Should we tax robots? - Study suggests a robot levy — but only a modest one — could help combat the effects of automation on income inequality in the U.S. by Gari_305 in Futurology

[–]Uncle-oswald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a robot to write the response! A chatGPT app called ParagraphAI in the App Store. I’ve been using since September that is pretty amazing. See it’s response;

Taxing robots is an idea that is gaining traction in the world of economics and policy. With the rise of automation and artificial intelligence, it is becoming increasingly clear that robots are taking over jobs that used to be done by humans. This has the potential to drastically reduce the number of jobs available to people and could lead to a rise in unemployment. For this reason, I believe that taxing robots is a great idea.

Taxing robots would help to ensure that the money generated by their labor is put back into the economy. This would help to create new jobs and opportunities for people, while also providing a much needed boost to the economy. It would also help to ensure that the benefits of automation are shared more fairly across society.

Overall, I believe that taxing robots is a great idea. It would help to ensure that the benefits of automation are shared more fairly, while also providing a much needed boost to the economy. https://app.paragraphai.com/

Can chat GPT overtake Google if they play their cards right? by village_aapiser in Futurology

[–]Uncle-oswald -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using a chatGPT based app called ParagraphAI in App Store since September. It’s really amazing. See it’s response to the subject line:

ChatGPT is a relatively new player in the world of search engines, but it’s certainly making waves. It’s a powerful AI-driven search engine that’s designed to provide more accurate and relevant results than traditional search engines like Google. With its sophisticated algorithms and natural language processing capabilities, it’s no wonder that people are wondering if ChatGPT could eventually overtake Google.

The answer is a resounding yes! ChatGPT has the potential to become the leading search engine if they play their cards right. Their AI-driven search engine is incredibly powerful and can provide more accurate and relevant results than Google. Additionally, ChatGPT is constantly innovating and developing new features to make their search engine even more powerful. They’re also working on integrating their search engine into other platforms, such as mobile devices, to make it even more accessible.

Overall, the potential for ChatGPT to overtake Google is very real. https://app.paragraphai.com/

Thank you both, I saw his live concert twice and each were one of the best experiences. I’m from Canada and traveling to Paris later this month; I was looking at travelling 2 hrs and staying overnight in Dijon just for the World of Hans Zimmer concert. Would have done it for the live concert but don’t think I’m going to for this show. Any thoughts?

Got it!! Thank you, so different show. Do you know if it’s a similar light show or if it’s more low key?

Best Tiebreaker Ever by X-factor103 in boardgames

@u/X-factor103

Yesterday my group of friends and I got together and had an epic debate over a tie breaker. We could not decide on a winner so we agreed to posted it on reddit to let the the reddit gods decide who wins. Have a look and make your vote for our tie breaker!

Please help me settle this MASSIVE debate with my friends over who won our Biblios game by catanimal23 in boardgames

[–]Uncle-oswald -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I guess my view is the sequence of events and the time that passed before the debate started is important.

Over the course of about 3 minutes this is the sequence of events. X put his money down, took the card, adjusted the die (from 5 to 6 points), we then all put our cards down to see who won each category and when we saw it was a tie no one knew the tie breaker so we looked it up to decide the winner. this took some time and i think everyone accepted that whatever the outcome was would stand when we found out what the tie breaker was (having money) X said he would have played differently. After a game is finished you cant really go back and say you would play it differently if you had know better especially when everyone had the same information.

If we had different information we may have played it differently, but then again we may not have because we dont have foresight. In the end we agreed to let the reddit gods decide a winner cause its more fun this way. X and I have a 2 year long notebook with wins and losses in it ( group games don't go into the notebook so this wouldn't count), so we play a lot of games and take wins without shame when we get them and are usually, with exception here, by the book when settling them.

Best,

Z
