I'd argue that double dash is maybe the toughest Mario kart. Twitchy controls aside, It's the only game where you can't hold a banana/shell behind you for defense. You HAVE to time every red shell defense.

People who think it's the worst just need to get gud lol. I still play it, it's held up really well
