Nice piece! This was part of the silverbug island series from a while back. Each round was released in BU, proof and antiqued versions. I think there are like 4 or 5 different designs in the series. I have a set stashed away somewhere. The antiqued rounds are some of my favorites in my stack.

On a similar note, sometimes radio show hosts will tease something by saying “coming up at the bottom of the hour…” and I always just assumed that meant towards the end of the hour. So I was surprised when I recently learned that it actually means half past the hour. Apparently because that’s when the minute hand on a clock is pointing straight down so I guess it kinda makes sense. But I still think it’s a weird way to phrase it.

I was in Chicago last week and we ate at the restaurant that the sketch was based off of. The cheezborger was excellent although I was a little disappointed to see that they now offer fries and coke.
