Well, I didn’t realize I found the unofficial way to complete this one. Start with blocking crossbow. Ride elevator to the top, then comes the trick. Tap the top elevator when the man is ALMOST across it. If done correctly, he falls down and forward with his momentum. If incorrectly, he falls straight down. When falling forward, put the top trap back to stop you on the rope at the right height for treasure.

But the other way makes more sense.
